Claims

1. A device for mounting decorative panels on a dishwasher door, comprising hinge means (13-16) having each two plates, whereof an inner plate (14) may be fixed to the door (8) of the machine or may be integral therewith, an outer plate (16) is intended to be fixed to a decorative panel (12), said two plates (14, 16) being connected to one another by a hinge axis (13) arranged on their upper portion, and by means (17-18) for limiting the mutual opening angle, such as not to prevent the angular displacements of the plates (14, 16) the one with respect to the other within the limits fixed by the limitation means (17-18), characterized in that said limitation means (17-18) are formed by a shaft (17) connected to the outer plate (16), traversing the inner plate (14) and ending with a head (18) which limits the stroke, and in that a compression spring (19), aiming to return the hinge means (13-16) to the closure position, is inserted between said limiting head and the inner plate.

2. A device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the outer plate (16) has, on its side intended to receive the decorative panel (12), lockable engagement means (16', 16") for a connection plaque (20) to be applied onto the inner side of the decorative panel (12).

A device according to Claim 2, characterized in that each connection plaque (20) has an upper hook (21) which can be inserted into an opening (16') of the outer plate (16), and a lower bolt (23) which can be locked, by acting from the inner side of the decorative panel (12), into a slot (16") of said outer plate (16).
