Abstract
Eine Vorrichtung zur mehrdimensionalen, bildmäßigen Darstellung der Intensitätsverteilung einer Strahlung ent hält eine unter Überdruck eines Gases stehende Detektor kammer, die als Driftkammer mit zumindest parallelen Elektroden und ringförmigen Hilfselektroden und als der Driftkammer nachgeordnete Vieldrahtkammer mit in einer Ebene kreuzungsfrei gespannten Drähten ausgebildet ist. Mit dieser Vorrichtung sollen die auf dem Gebiet der medi zinischen Technik zu stellenden Forderungen wie hohes Auflösungsvermögen und geringe Bestrahlungszeiten zu erfüllen sein. Die Erfindung sieht hierzu vor, daß bei der Vorrichtung für eine zweidimensionale Darstellung die Ein fallsrichtung der in die Detektorkammer (2) eintretenden Strahlung (7) zumindest annähernd parallel zur Ebene der als Kollektordrähte dienenden Drähte (16) der Vieldraht kammer verläuft, daß diese Drähte zumindest annähernd parallel bezüglich der Einfallsrichtung der Strahlung (7) ausgerichtet sind und daß die zu registrierenden elektrisch geladenen Teilchen (18) positive Ionen des Gases sind.
