Bei diesem Vorgang stellt das Einfädeln in die Kokille ein besonderes Problem dar, da es nicht bzw. nur mit sehr hohem Aufwand möglich ist, den Transportwagen genau in die « Einfädelposition » zu verfahren. Transportwagen der eingangs beschriebenen Art weisen, selbst wenn nur ein kurzer Anfahrstrang verwendet wird, ein Gewicht von mehr als 50 t auf, wozu noch das Gewicht des Anfahrstranges selbst kommt. Das Abbremsen einer derartigen großen Masse gelingt nicht mit der erforderlichen Präzision - hier kommt es auf mm an -, sodaß man bisher gezwungen war, den Wagen nach dem Abbremsen bei der Kokille noch hin bzw. her zu verschieben, bis das in die Kokille einzufädelnde Ende des Anfahrstranges tatsächlich genau über der Kokille zu liegen kommt. Dieses « Nachzentrieren » nach erfolgtem Abbremsen des Wagens erfordert nicht nur Zeit, sondern auch Geschicklichkeit, da dabei ebenfalls das Gesamtgewicht des Transportwagens mit dem Anfahrstrang zu bewegen ist.A trolley of the type described above is known for example from DE-OS 22 21 187. Sodann kann der Anfahrstrang 7 mittels der Treibrollen 12 in die Kokille eingefädelt und weiter abgesenkt werden. Während des Absenkens sind sowohl der Wagen 1 als auch die Führungseinrichtung 13 in ihrer Stellung fixiert.
