1. (168) supporté par le dispositif support d'outil de cardage (26) soit amené à agir progressivement le long de parties marginales du dessous de chaussure, l'appareil comportant également un dispositif support d'outil de verrage de bout (324) entre lequel et le support de chaussure (18) peut être produit un mouvement relatif dans le sens de la longueur et de la hauteur, entrainant ainsi que la partie d'extrémité de bout du dessous d'une chaussure (S) supporté par le support de chaussure (18) soit verré par un outil de verrage de bout (320) supporté par ledit dispositif (324), caractérisé par un premier, un second et un troisième moteurs à commande numérique (144, 84, -) par lesquels est produit un mouvement relatif dans le sens de la longueur, de la largeur et de la hauteur du dessous de chaussure entre le support de chaussure (18) et le dispositif support d'outil de cardage (30) et par un autre moteur à commande numérique (338) qui produit un mouvement relatif dans le sens de la hauteur entre le support de chaussure (18) et le dispositif support d'outil de décapage (324), et en ce qu'un dispositif de commande par ordinateur est prévu par lequel des signaux de commande sont produits et fournis auxdits premier, second et troisième moteurs à commande numérique (144, 84, -) en fonction d'une instruction programmée comprenant des valeurs numérisées d'axes de coordonnées, utilisant trois axes de coordonnées, pour plusieurs points successifs sélectionnées le long de la partie marginale du dessous de chaussure ou d'une chaussure similaire, et en outre par lequel des signaux de commande sont produits et fournis auxdits autres moteurs à commande numérique (138), ces signaux étant dérivés des valeurs numérisées d'axes de coordonnées faisant partie de l'instruction programmée par laquelle l'opération de cardage marginale est commandée, de manière à déterminer le trajet de l'outil de verrage de bout (320) en relation avec le dessous de chaussure, à la fois dans le sens de sa longueur et de sa hauteur.

Appareil selon la revendication 1, dans lequel le support de chaussure (18) comporte un dispositif support d'extrémité de bout (470), un dispositif support d'extrémité de talon (362-372) et un dispositif (510) pour produire un mouvement relatif d'approche entre eux pour l'adaptation à la pointure d'une chaussure (S) qu'il supporte, le dispositif support d'extrémité de bout (470) et le dispositif support d'extrémité de talon (362-372) étant agencé de manière qu'une chaussure (S) soit serrée avec sa partie d'extrémité de bout dans une position de référence en hauteur, caractérise en ce que le support de chaussure (18) comporte un dispositif de détection de longueur de chaussure (580) accouplé en fonctionnement avec le dispositif (510) qui produit un mouvement relatif d'approche entre le dispositif support d'extrémité de bout (470) et le dispositif support d'extrémité de talon (362-372) et en ce que le dispositif de commande par ordinateur comporte un programme de calibrage qui, en réponse à un signal provenant dudit dispositif de détection (580) entraine que les signaux de commande vers les moteurs à commande numérique (144, 84, -, 338) soient modulés en fonction de la longueur de la chaussure détectée.

Appareil selon l'une ou l'autre des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le support de chaussure (18) est monté pour un mouvement dans le sens de la longueur du dessous de chaussure autour d'un axe horizontal (14) disposé transversalement par rapport au-dessous de chaussure, et par conséquent pour un mouvement le long d'un trajet en arc de cercle, le dispositif support d'outil de cardage (30) étant mobile dans le sens de la largeur et de la hauteur dudit trajet à la commande du second et du troisième moteurs (84, -) et le dispositif support d'outil de verrage (324) e tant mobile dans le sens de la hauteur dudit trajet à la commande dudit autre moteur (338), et en ce que lesdits dispositifs supports d'outil (30, 324) sont agencés de manière que l'outil de cardage (168) soit disposé près du point le plus haut dudit trajet et que l'outil de verrage (320) soit juste en "amont" de l'outil de cardage (168).

Appareil selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le support de chaussure (18) est agencé pour supporter une chaussure (S) avec son extrémité de talon en avant pendant ce mouvement relatif dans le sens de la longueur entre le dispositif support d'outil de verrage (324), et le support de chaussure (18), afin que l'outil de verrage de bout (320) soit amené à agir progressivement à partir de la partie avant vers l'extrémité de bout du dessous de chaussure.
5. Appareil selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que l'outil de verrage (320) est mis en rotation de manière que sa surface utile se déplace dans le même sens que celui du mouvement de la chaussure (S) devant elle.

Appareil selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel deux supports de chaussure (18) sont prévus, disposés côte à côte, caractérisé en ce que chaque support (18) est associé avec un premier moteur à commande numérique (144) et en ce que deux dispositifs supports d'outils de verrage (324) sont prévus, l'un associé avec chaque support de chaussure (18) et associés chacun avec un autre moteur à commande numérique (338).
7. Appareil selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que le second moteur à commande numérique (84) a pour effet de produire un mouvement relatif dans le sens de la largeur entre les supports de chaussure (18) et le dispositif support d'outil de cardage (30) pour amener ce dernier alternativement en alignement de fonctionnement avec chacun des supports de chaussure (18), la disposition étant telle que l'autre moteur à commande numérique (338) associé avec le support de chaussure (18) ainsi aligné en fonctionnement soit rendu opérant.
