The invention relates to cleaning bodies made of sponge rubber with abrasive elements for the internal cleaning of tubes, in particular steam power plant condensers, the abrasive elements being designed as bristles with a bristle shaft and fastening foot and anchored with their fastening foot in the sponge rubber element by foaming.
Description
The invention relates generically to cleaning bodies for the internal cleaning of the tubes of tubular heat exchangers, in particular of Darapfkrsftvrerk condensers, in circulation, consisting of a sponge rubber element adapted to the tube diameter and associated abrasive elements. The tube diameter is z. B. in the range of 10 to 50 mm. The sponge rubber elements are generally those with open pores. The term sponge rubber encompasses both natural rubber and synthetic rubber. The cleaning process in which the cleaning bodies mentioned are used is generally known in practice as a taprogge process.
As part of the measures known (from practice), the abrasive elements are grains made of a corresponding material, for example corundum. A disadvantage of these tried and tested cleaning bodies is that the abrasive effect is often too strong because of the high hardness of the corundum. Another disadvantage is that these cleaning bodies are not suitable for pipes with a profile that deviates from the circular shape.
Moreover, in practice, cleaning bodies for cleaning the inside of the tubes of tubular heat exchangers are known not only as sponge rubber elements with abrasive elements arranged thereon, but also so-called cleaning brushes. These consist of - a brush core with protruding bristles, are basically cylindrical in design and have plate-shaped elements on the end faces. Such cleaning bodies are not suitable for cleaning the tubes in circulation. They are arranged stationary in the tubes and are switched over by the Flow direction of the heat exchange medium in the tubes back and forth. It is expensive.
The invention has for its object to further develop the generic, suitable for circulation cleaning body so that they have less abrasiveness than the coated with corundum and also for cleaning profiled pipes thaw; gene.
To achieve this object, the invention teaches that the abrasive elements are designed as bristles with a bristle shaft and fastening foot and are anchored in their fastening foot in the sponge rubber element by foaming. This can be achieved in various ways. A preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the bristles are designed as U-shaped monofilament sections, the U-web forming the fastening foot and the U-legs forming two bristle shafts. However, the bristles can also be designed in a nail shape, with a nail head forming the fastening foot. The bristles like z. B. consist of plastic glass fibers or wire. They can also be designed as natural bristles.
In the cleaning bodies according to the invention, the abrasive elements are embedded with their fastening foot in the sponge rubber element, namely foamed. This implies that the bristles are inserted into the molds in which the sponge rubber elements are in turn produced by a spraying and possibly blowing process. The mold for making the sponge rubber elements is designed in accordance with the shape of the sponge elements. The cleaning body is particularly simple if, according to a further proposal of the invention, the bristles are provided with a bristle carrier, e.g. B. a molded ring or web, which forms the mounting base and carries a plurality of the bristle shafts on its outside. Such rings or webs can be inserted into a conventional shape for the production of sponge rubber elements.
(Siehe Skizze C)The sponge rubber element of the cleaning bodies according to the invention and thus the cleaning bodies according to the invention themselves can be spherical or also cylindrical. Depending on the length of the bristle shafts protruding from the sponge rubber element, the cleaning bodies are not only suitable for cleaning tubes which have a round diameter or inner diameter, but also for tubes which, for. B. are oval or the wall is profiled. (See sketch C)

The cleaning body shown in the figures is intended for the internal cleaning of the tubes of tubular heat exchangers, in particular of steam power plant condensers, specifically for a cleaning process with circulating operation of the cleaning bodies.
