Abstract
1319094 Pipe-line pigs M M M KNAPP and K M KNAPP 18 Nov 1970 54735/70 Heading F2N A pipe-line pig is formed by a spherical body of foamed plastics having an open cell structure, the body having an outer zone of increasing density to form a tough skin. The open celled structure prevents the pig being compressed by the hydrostatic pressure in a pipe. The skin is perforated to facilitate pressure equalization.
