Abstract
The water nozzle is intended for dust control, for example on cutting rollers. It is screwed into the feed lines of the cutting roller and has a collecting bore divided into two sections (2, 17), a guide sleeve (5) with a preloaded piston (6) which is stepped several times in the axial direction being arranged in section (2). The design of the piston (6) and the subdivision of the collecting bore prevent dirt from depositing and, through additional turbulence, prevent clogging.
Description
The invention relates to a water nozzle, in particular for dust control, for example on cutting rollers, which essentially consists of a housing which can be screwed into a water supply line and has a collecting bore on the water inlet side and a central bore of small diameter on the water outlet side.
The main disadvantage of such water nozzles mentioned at the outset is the constant blockage caused by solid constituents such as rust which accumulate within the water supply lines. Since the cleaning of such nozzles or the removal of the solid constituents takes place by unscrewing the water nozzles and flushing with water, downtime of the cutting roller is associated with this process and thus high costs and labor.
An improvement with regard to the prevention of blockages and a relief in the implementation of the cleaning has been achieved with a water nozzle which has an insert inside the receiving bore and is pressed into the water inlet side and a spray chamber between the central bore and the insert. The spray chamber is intended to avoid additional swirling of the water and thus the dirt in the area of the nozzle. In addition, the spray chamber is said to facilitate cleaning in that the cleaning work can be carried out with a thin wire through the central bore.
In practice, however, the latter consideration has not been able to be realized in such a way that parts of the spray chamber do not become dirty and this dirt is pushed back into the bore of the insert during the cleaning attempt.
The invention has now set itself the task of creating a water nozzle, in particular for dust control, for example on scraper rollers or other underground facilities, which avoids the blockages while avoiding the above-mentioned disadvantages and largely guarantees the functionality of the nozzles Manufacturing is easy and inexpensive.
This object is achieved in that the collecting bore is divided into two sections, and that in the section of the receiving bore of the housing and screwed into this, a stepped guide sleeve is arranged with a piston which is stepped several times in the axial direction and can be pretensioned by a spring.
It has proven to be advantageous that the guide sleeve consists of a channel-like feed and a subsequent widening on the water inlet side and the piston arranged in the guide sleeve has a slight widening in the feed and a strong widening within the widening.
Furthermore, it proves to be particularly advantageous in the context of the invention that the widening of the piston is provided with additional bores.
The technical progress of the invention can be seen in particular in the fact that the high costs of downtimes, which have to be carried out by the constantly necessary cleaning of the water nozzles, are substantially reduced since the nozzles according to the invention are equipped with a self-cleaning device.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing using a schematically represented section through a nozzle and is explained in more detail below.
The water nozzle shown in section in the drawing consists essentially of a
The thread 3 is provided for connection to a water supply line.
The guide sleeve 5 has a narrowed channel-like guide 7 on the water inlet side and then an extension 8. The extension 8 goes inside the
An den Abschnitt 17 schließt sich wasseraustrittsseitig die Zentralbohrung 18 an.The spring 13 is mounted within the
