Claims (12)

1. Electromagnetic switchgear having a coil and a terminal device for the electrically conductive connection of the winding end (13) of the coil to the end of a current supply line, the terminal device comprising a connecting piece (10), to which the winding end (13) of the coil is connected, and a terminal screw (20, 21) which can be screwed into the connecting piece for clamping the end of the current supply line, characterized in that a contact tongue (12) for clamping the winding end (13) of the coil is integrally formed on the connecting piece (10), in that the connecting piece (10) is held captive in a shaped cover part (24) consisting of insulating material, so that the connecting piece (10) forms one unit with the shaped cover part (24), and in that the shaped cover part (24) is held captive on the housing (38, 42) of the switchgear.
2. Switchgear as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the connecting piece (10) is formed as a connection angle, one of whose legs accomodates the terminal screw (20, 21) and on the other leg of which the contact tongue (12) and, in addition, a tension-relieving tongue (11) are integrally formed.
3. Switchgear as claimed in claim 2, characterized in that the tension-relieving tongue (11) and the contact tongue (12) are mounted in a U-shaped manner on the connection angle and in that the winding end (13) is inserted in the interior of the U-shape and is retained therein by pressing together the U-shaped tension-relieving tongue (11) and contact tongue (12).
4. Switchgear as claimed in one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the connection angle is equipped with lateral detent projections (15, 16), which are opposite one another, or with grooves for accommodating detent projections or with a combination of a detent projection and an opposite groove.
5. Switchgear as claimed in one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the shaped cover part (24) is formed as an essentially rectangular cap, into which the connection angle and the terminal screw (20, 21) can be inserted from an open side of the cap and in which the terminal screw is also held captive even when the connection angle is in the unscrewed position.
6. Switchgear as claimed in one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that in lateral outer walls (25) and/or intermediate walls (26), the shaped cover part (24) comprises breaks (27, 28) or depressions for the engaged accomodation of detent projections (15, 16) of the connection angle or, instead of this, is provided with detent projections which can engage at the connection angle or, finally, with a combination of these detent means.
7. Switchgear as claimed in one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that outwardly directed guide parts, support parts and, if necessary, detent parts are disposed on the shaped cover part (24) and, in the assembled position, cooperate with corresponding shaped parts (39, 40, 41) on a housing part (38) of the switchgear.

Switchgear as claimed in one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the shaped cover part (24) comprises, at its upper wall which is adjacent to the open cap side, a screw opening (33) which is surrounded by a cylindrical raised part (32), the centre point of this screw opening (33) coinciding with the axis of the terminal screw after assembly of the connection angle and the terminal screw (20,21).
9. Switchgear as claimed in claim 8, characterized in that the wall facing the interior of the shaped cover part (43) comprises in the region around the screw opening (44) two inclined faces (47, 48) which are used as stop faces for a roof-shaped pressure disc (46) retained at the head of the terminal screw (45) to be associated.
10. Switchgear as claimed in one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that on one of the lateral outer walls of the shaped cover part (24) there is provided a flat face (35) for accomodating coil data and/or a terminal designation in the form of an inprint, an adhesive plate, a stamped portion or the like.
11. Switchgear as claimed in one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that in the lateral wall - of the shaped cover part (24) -facing in the direction of the housing exterior of the housing (38,42) of the switchgear in the assembled position, a recess (34) is provided for introducing and guiding connection lines for the inductive coil.
12. Switchgear as claimed in one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the insulating material, from which the shaped cover part (24; 43) is formed, is mixed with a dye.
