Abstract

1. Description

The invention relates to a removable armchair, the frame of which is essentially composed of two main beams and further tube or tube and rod parts which can be accommodated in the interior of the main beams each having a cavity, the main beams, the lower sections of which form the front legs of the armchair , below and above are connected to each other by cross struts, two armchair rear legs are each fastened with their upper ends to one of the main beams, and a seat is suspended in the frame.

Comfortable camping chairs with back and armrests are known that consist of a scaffold and a fabric seat attached to it. These armchairs are relatively voluminous and require a lot of space for transport. For this reason, armchairs have been developed that can be taken apart and easily transported. For example, skiers are familiar with armchairs that can be assembled using a pair of skis and poles. However, these ski and stick armchairs are uncomfortable, unstable and mostly complicated to use. Since the individual parts of the armchair are not firmly bonded to one another, the seated person is forced to carry out all movements carefully and always pay attention to balance in order to prevent the armchair from collapsing.

A removable deck chair is described in CH-A-179 906. A walking stick is composed of the material for the construction of the deck chair. The shaft consists of two half tubes, which are put together to form a tube and are attached to each other at the top and bottom. The remaining components for the construction of the deck chair are accommodated in the cavity of the tube. The stick is relatively complex and complicated to use and it is doubted whether the two half-tubes are sufficiently stable for a deck chair. Since the half-tube rods are relatively short, two half-tube extension pieces must be provided, which further complicate the assembly of the deck chair and weaken the construction. It is also not possible to produce an armchair from the floor with separate back and seat sections and with an armrest.

The invention only has the task of starting from the known solutions to create an armchair which avoids the disadvantages mentioned. The seat frame should be able to be assembled using a pair of ski poles and other parts.

This object is achieved according to the invention in such a way that the main girders are two ski poles, that the chair rear legs are tubular and stabilized by two cross braces, that the diameters of the cross braces, the cross braces of the chair rear legs and the poles are graduated from one another in such a way that one cross brace each, one cross brace and a chair back leg inserted into one of the sticks can be accommodated.

The armchair according to the invention can be assembled quickly and can be dismantled just as quickly and easily. It is stable, comfortable and practical. Due to the use of two ski poles, which are part of the standard equipment of the skier, the chair is always available when skiing.

The seat is expediently designed in such a way that when folded it results in a lumbar pocket.

The ski pole chair shown in the figures has a frame in which the fabric seat 1 is suspended. The main supports of the frame are formed by two ski poles 2 with snow plates 3 and handles 4. The lower parts of the ski poles 2 form the front legs of the chair.

Two cross struts 5, 6 connect the two ski poles 2 to one another. For this purpose, two holes 8 are provided in the handles 4 and the lower parts of the ski poles, into which the ends of the cross struts 5, 6 are inserted. The holes 8 break through only one wall of the tubular stick, so that the opposite tube wall forms a stop for the inserted cross strut. The cross struts 5, 6 hold the sticks 2 parallel to one another at the correct distance.

The upper cross strut 5 carries the seat recess 1. This is provided at the top with a sack-shaped part 9 which is placed over the upper cross strut 5 and over the stick handles 4. This means that part of the load is diverted to the top of the seat frame. The back shape of the seat recess extends downwards, which leads to a pleasant space. The upper cross strut ensures a firm backrest. The lower cross strut solidifies the seat frame and also takes on part of the pressure load that it transfers to the pair of poles 2.

The two tubular rear legs 10 are each provided at the top with a pin 11, in the center of which is anchored a mandrel 12 with a rectangular cross section, which protrudes about 4 to 5 cm. This mandrel 12 penetrates a correspondingly shaped bore 13 in the ski pole 2. The pin 11 and the upper end of the rear leg 10 are curved and rounded so that they adapt to the curvature of the pole. The bulge of the upper end of the rear leg mentioned is designated by 14. The hind leg 10 forms an acute angle of approximately 60 ° with the stick 2. The projecting mandrel 12 limits the spread between the stick 2 and the hind leg 10 when the seat is loaded. In addition, he wears the seat 1 attached to it by means of a loop 15. In this way, the main load is distributed evenly between the poles 2 and the rear legs 10. Naturally, the mandrels and the cones have to be removed made of a resistant material. The attachment is done in the usual way, for example by pinning, screwing, jamming or the like.

The rear legs 10 also each have two boreholes 16, which are not continuous. The ends of two cross struts 17 are inserted into these boreholes. They lead to the optimal strengthening of the armchair. The position of the boreholes 16 is selected so that no unacceptable loads arise on the pipes, the seat constriction 18 causing a favorable counterpressure. The cross struts 17 are arranged so deep that they do not hinder when sitting.

The snow plates 3 arranged at the lower ends of the two front legs 19 of the chair prevent the snow from sinking into the snow. The rear legs 10 are also expediently provided with snow plates 20. For this purpose, an insert 21 with an annular bead 22 is arranged in the lower end of each rear leg 10. The snow plate 20 made of elastic plastic is provided in the center with a corresponding annular recess 23 so that it can be plugged onto the insert 21 and a high pressure load endures. The snow plate 20 can expediently be closed at the bottom in order to prevent snow or dirt from penetrating into the rear leg 10.

After hanging the seat, 10 armrests 24 that fit the body are placed on the mandrels 12 of the rear legs. This ensures increased comfort and prevents any risk of injury from the projecting mandrel.

The loop 15 of the seat 1 is located on the edge of the seat, exactly at the height of the mandrel 12. It is made of strong material and is sewn into the seat, riveted or the like. In addition to its function of absorbing and distributing loads onto the sticks 2 and the rear legs 10 it tightens the seat at cross height and helps the seated person to a healthy back support.

The cavity of the ski pole is released by opening the handle cover 28. The cover 28 is on the hinge side 29 made of hard, resistant material. In this way, the upper thickening for the joint 29 and the bore 8, which receives the upper cross strut 5, is free. In addition, the assembly of the tether 34 is simplified since it consists of only one part and not, as is known, of two parts.

In summary, reference is again made to the advantages of the armchair according to the invention: by opening the handle cover, the following parts can be removed from the cavity of the stick 2: the rear leg 10, which contains a cross strut 5, in this contain a cross strut 17. The other stick contains the opposite Parts. All parts can be plugged together with corresponding holes 8, 16 to form a seat frame. A small difference of around one millimeter between each of the three pipes prevents jamming in the floor. This diameter difference can be compensated for by suitable, slidable plastic rings, which are mounted exactly above the drill holes, in order to avoid rattling noises. At the same time, a vertical slot on the drill hole ensures that the inserted cross and cross struts are clamped in place by the plastic ring.

Folding chair, the frame of which is composed essentially of two main supports (2) and further tube or tube and rod parts (5,6,10,17) which can be accommodated in the interior of the main supports (2) each having a cavity, the main supports (2), the lower portions of which form the front legs of the chair, being connected to one another at the bottom and top by cross-struts (5,6), two chair rear legs (10) moreover each being fastened by means of their upper ends (11,12) to one of the main supports, and a seat (1) being suspended in the frame, characterised in that the main supports are two ski sticks (2), in that the chair rear legs (10) are tubular and are stabilised by two diagonal struts (17), and in thatthe diameters of the diagonal struts (17), the cross-struts (5,6) of the chair rear legs (10) and the sticks (2) are graduated relative to one another in such a way that a diagonal strut (17), a cross-strut (5,6) and a chair rear leg (10) can be accommodated in one of the sticks by being inserted into one another.

Chair according to claim 1, characterised in that the upper end of each rear leg (10) has a peg (12) of profiled cross-section which passes through a correspondingly shaped bore (13) in the associated main support (2), and in that the upper end of the rear leg (10) is shaped in such a way that it matches the curve of the main support (2).

Chair according to claim 1, characterised in that each ski-stick handle (4) has a cover (28) which is fastened pivotably to the handle body and which exposes the cavity in the interior of the ski-stick (2), and in that a slit (33) in which a holding strap (34) is fastened is formed in a lower projection of the handle (4).
