Diese Einrichtung weist einen auf den Kuhlschacht (1) aufgesetzten, mit einer verschliessbaren Bodenöffnung (8) versehenen Kokstransportbehälter (5) auf, wobei der Kühlschacht (1) unterhalb des Auflagebereiches des Kokstransportbehälters (5) mit einem Verschlussorgen (3) versehen ist. Hierbei gewährleistet das sie umgebende Gehäuse bei aufsitzendem Kokstransportbehälter einen gasdichten Abschluss des Kühlschachtes gegenüber der Atmosphäre. In Dichtstellung der Platte wird durch die Auflage der Platte auf der Kühlschachtmüadung und vorgesehene Tauchung ein Entweichen von Gasen aus dem Kühlschacht ebenfalls verhindert. In der Zeichnung ist mit 1 der obere Bereich des Kühlschachtes angedeutet, der sich nach oben zur Kühlschachtmündung 2 hin verjüngt. Oberhalb dieser Mündung befindet sich das noch näher zu erläuternde, als Ganzes mit 3 bezeichnete Verschlussorgan, woran sich nach oben das Unterstützungsgehäuse 4 für den Kokstransportbehälter 5 anschliesst. Letzterer weist im vorliegenden Fall zwei Abdeckplatten 6 und 7 auf, die zur Aufnahme des glühenden Kokses, d. h. wenn der Kokstraasportbehälter vor der zu entleerenden Koksofenkammer in Stellung gebracht worden ist, nach oben schwenkbar sind. Der Kokstransportbehälter besitzt ferner einen kegelförmigen Bodenverschluss 8, der - wie mit 8' angedeutet - heb- und senkbar ist. Die Betätiguagavorrichtungen für die Abdeckplatten sowie für den Bodenverschluss sind in der Zeichnung nicht dargestellt.
