Claims (7)

1. Mounting support for reels (winding drums) of a packaging material on packaging machines, etc., with two retaining members (gripping devices 14, 15) fixed to supporting arms (17, 18) and engaging laterally into a central opening (13) of reel (10), whereby said retaining members can be moved by a lifting gear arrangement (19) in successive movement phases in engagement with reel (10) and can be raised together with the latter, characterized in that a single lifting gear (19) is provided, which can be moved from one end position into another by a single actuating member, particularly by an actuating lever (22), during continued movements thereof, the end positions of actuating member (22) being defined by the end positions of supporting arms (17, 18).
2. Mounting support according to claim 1, characterized in that by means of support members (29, 30), supporting arms (17, 18) are mounted so that they can be pivoted and raised, said support members being connected to the supporting arms (17, 18) at a distance from the ends thereof.
3. Mounting support according to claims 1 or 2, characterized in that in the initial position for receiving a reel (10), the supporting arms (17, 18) are supported in a pivoted-back position, particularly by the engagement of the lifting members (25,26) on a fixed stop (catch 31).
4. Mounting support according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the supporting arms (17, 18) are jointly pivotable until the retaining members (14, 15) engage with the reel (10) and are then upwardly movable.
5. Mounting support according to one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the lifting gear (19) comprises two meshing, fixed gear wheels (20, 21), which can be rotated by actuating lever (22) and on which is pivotably mounted in each case one lifting member (25, 26) connected to the end of a supporting arm (17, 18).
6. Mounting support according to claim 5, characterized in that the gear wheels (20, 21) are mounted in spaced manner over an articulation point of the support members (29, 30) on a carrier plate (11) of the packaging machine (33), etc.
7. Mounting support according to one of the claims 1 to 6, characterized in that in both end positions (reception position and working position) of reel (10), the lifting gear (19) is loaded, particularly by a tension spring (32) which can be moved over a dead centre position.
