Die mit diesen Laufschienen gegenüber den herkömmlichen, einen U-, C-, L-, T-oder Doppel-T-Querschnitt aufweisenden Laufschienen erzielbaren Vorteile bestehen hauptsächlich in der Realisation kleinerer Krümmungsradien und, besonders im Hinblick auf den C-förmigen Querschnitt, in wesentlich günstigeren Herstellungskosten. So kann beispielsweise bei einem Fahrwerk für geringere Belastungen und kleine Geschwindigkeiten das die halbkreisförmige Lastaufnahmefläche 1 aufweisende Teilprofil A oben liegen, wobei eine entsprechend ausgebildete, punktförmig aufliegende Lastrolle gleichzeitig auch Führungsaufgaben übernehmen kann. Bei Fahrwerken für grössere Belastungen und grössere Geschwindigkeiten kann das die horizontal verlaufende Lastaufnahmefläche 3 aufweisende Teilprofil B oben liegen, wobei eine entsprechend ausgebildete Lastrolle linienförmig aufliegt und das unten liegende Teilprofil A der Führung des Fahrwerks dient. Weitere vorteilhafte Auswirkungen ergeben sich aus den vorgesehenen kreisförmigen und quadratischen Hohlräumen 7, weil damit Gewichtsersparnis erzielt und die Aufnahme eines einheitlichen Zentrier- und Kupplungselementes 8 ermöglicht wird. Die Teilprofile A, B weisen im Querschnitt kreisförmige Hohlräume 7 auf, welche der Gewichtsersparnis und der Aufnahme von Zentrier- und Kupplungselementen 8 dienen. Hierbei kann bei einem Fahrwerk für die unteren Werte dieses Belastungsbereiches und für kleine Geschwindigkeiten das die halbkreisförmige Lastaufnahmefläche 1 aufweisende Teilprofil A oben liegen, wobei eine entsprechend ausgebildete, beispielsweise Spurkränze aufweisende, punktförmig aufliegende Lastrolle gleichzeitig auch Führungsaufgaben übernehmen kann. Bei Fahrwerken für die oberen Werte des vorgenannten Belastungsbereiches und für grössere Geschwindigkeiten kann das die horizontal verlaufende Lastaufnahmefläche 3 aufweisende Teilprofil B oben liegen, wobei eine entsprechend ausgebildete Lastrolle linienförmig aufliegt und das unten liegende Teilprofil A der Führung des Fahrwerks dient.The support and guide profile according to FIG. 1, which is preferably made from one piece and consists of a light metal alloy, is particularly suitable for a medium load range of, for example, 300 to 500 kg.
