Abstract

The invention is aimed at developing a process by which textile products of relatively high pile are provided to a satisfactory degree with conventional embroidery patterns on standard embroidering machines. A mat with an appropriate embroidery is to be produced in this way. An essential feature of the invention is that arranged on the (lower) side of the textile product (mat 11) facing away from the pile (10) is a sheet-like underlay (15), through which pass knitting needles and yarns and by means of which embroidery (14) is sewn onto the underside of the textile (11). <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Herstellen von Stickereien auf flächigen textilen Erzeugnissen mit verhältnismäßig hohem Flor und insbesondere mit einer rückseitigen Beschichtung aus Latex od. dgl. mit Hilfe üblicher Stickerei-Maschinen. Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung ein textiles Erzeugnis, insbesondere einen Fußbodenbelag (Matte, Teppich etc. ) mit verhältnismäßig hohem Flor und Stickereien.The invention relates to a method for producing embroidery on flat textile products with a relatively high pile and in particular with a latex coating or the like using conventional embroidery machines. Maschinell gefertigte Stickereien (Stickmotive) sind bisher nur auf bzw. an textilen Erzeugnissen zu finden, die als reines Gewebe ohne Flor ausgebildet sind. In bestimmten Anwendungsbereichen, insbesondere als textiler Fußbodenbelag, finden überwiegend bzw. ausschließlich flächige textile Erzeugnisse Verwendung, die mit einem verhältnismäßig hohen Flor (bis zu 10 mm und mehr) ausgestattet sind. In der Praxis besteht das Bedürfnis, auch diese vorgenannten textilen Erzeugnisse mit Verzierungen durch Stickereien zu versehen. Insbesondere gilt dies für textile Fußbodenbeläge, nämlich Matten, WC-Vorleger und Bezüge für WC-Deckel, im Badezimmerbereich. Die vorgenannten textilen Erzeugnisse sind überwiegend mit einer unterseitigen Beschichtung versehen, z. Bei der Durchführung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens wird aus den dargelegten Gründen überwiegend ohne Rahmen zur Halterung des textilen Erzeugnisses gearbeitet werden. Die betreffende Matte oder dergleichen textiles Erzeugnis wird auf den Arbeitstisch der Stickereimaschine lose aufgelegt, wobei unterhalb der Matte, nämlich auf der üblicherweise mit Latex od. dgl. beschichteten Seite die erfindungsgemäße Unterlage (Kunststoff-Faservlies, Kunststoff-Folie od. dgl. ) ebenfalls lose ausgebreitet ist. Bei der Durchführung der Vielzahl von Stichen durch die Sticknadel unter Mitführung des Fadens wird diese Unterlage durchdrungen und an die Unterseite der Matte od. dgl. mitangeheftet. Diese Unterlage 15 ist so bemessen, daß sie beträchtlich größer ist als die herzustellende Stickerei 14 (siehe Fig. 2). Die Unterlage 15 wird sodann unterhalb der Matte 11, also der nach unten weisenden Beschichtung 13 zugekehrt, an die Matte 11 angelegt. Auf einer üblichen, im einzelnen nicht dargestellten Stickereimaschine liegt die Unterlage 15 zwischen einem Maschinentisch 16 und der auf dieser aufliegenden Matte 11. Gegebenenfalls kann bei entsprechender Dimensionierung der Unterlage 15 diese gesondert gehalten sein, z. Claims
