Claims (3)

1. A storage container (20) for razor blade units (4) comprising a blade (5) having a cutting edge on one longitudinal side and a strip-shaped blade- holding-element arrangement (6) which bears against the blade on both flat sides and has a constant cross-section along the falt side and by which the blade (5) may be inserted longitudinally into a blade holder (2) which is substantially U-shaped in cross-section, so that the blade (5) projects from the open side of the «U», characterized in that the storage container (20) comprises at least one narrow compartment (17) which is open at one end and the height of which is slightly less than the height of the razor blade unit (4) and into which the razor blade unit (4) may be inserted edgewise over its entire length, the compartment (17) leaving a slight clearance from the razor blade unit (4) laterally and being defined on one narrow side by foamed polystyrene or a similar material of light but firm consistency.
2. A storage container according to claim 1, characterized in that the compartment (17) is covered on its narrow side by a plate (18) of foamed polystyrene or similar material.
3. A storage container according to claim 2, characterized in that it is divided parallel to the plane of the plate and the halves (12,13) may be joined together in a durable manner.
