Es ist auch bereits bekannt, diese Bauart von Vergitterungen zur Sicherung von Lichtschächten gegen Hauseinbruch zu benutzen, wobei unterhalb des üblichen Gitterrostes des Lichtschachtes zwei U-Profilträger mit Hilfe von Dübeln an den Seitenwandungen des Schachtes befestigt werden und an den U-Profilträgern viereckige Eisenklötze angeschweißt sind, welche zum Aufstecken von an den Enden gequetschten Stahlrohren, die im Inneren auf entsprechende Länge geschnittene Rundstahlstäbe enthalten, dienen (vgl. DE-A-26 24 149).
