Abstract

1503652 Grilles T R COOKE 5 Feb 1975 [22 Feb 1974] 8204/74 Heading E1J A guard grille comprises bars 17 extending through apertures 24 in spaced frame members 11, 12 movable locking means 26 having apertures (29) permitting the passage of bars 17 when the means is in a first position and preventing the passage in a second position. The apertures are of V-shape and formed in plates (28) joining the limbs of a channel-shaped locking bar which is longitudinally slidable in lower frame member 12. The bars have neck portions 41 engageable in the apertures. The locking bar is slid longitudinally by handle 31 and retained in its locking position by a releasable spring- biassed lever 35. In Fig. 4 (not shown) a locking plate is retained by a rotatable device (58).
