Abstract

The crossing thread supply system for the weaving machine employs a rotatable bobbin carrier and a thread tensioning means for controlling a thread pay-out from a bobbin on the carrier as a function of thread tension. The tensioning means employs a control lever which is pivotable under the influence of the paid-out thread and a pivoting lever which engages via a pawl with a ratchet wheel connected to the bobbin carrier. The control lever serves to pivot the pivoting lever when moved to an innermost position. This disengages the pawl from the ratchet wheel to permit indexing of the ratchet wheel and bobbin carrier.

Description

The invention relates to a leno thread delivery device for a weaving machine, with at least one pair of thread bobbins and a spring tensioner associated with each thread bobbin, from which the thread let-off as a function of the thread tension via a pawl engaging in a ratchet wheel connected to the bobbin in a rotationally fixed manner is controlled.

In a previous device of this type (CH-PS 426 676) thread tensioner and pawl consist of one piece. This combined part is pivoted on an axis under the action of a spiral spring. An embodiment is also considered in which the thread tensioner is designed as a resilient arm and the pawl as an associated, separate component. Thread tensioner and pawl can not consist of one piece in this case due to their different functions, but are two separate parts rigidly connected to each other.

In these known designs, the tensile stresses from the warp threads are given directly to the pawl via the thread tensioner. The warp thread is therefore subject to a relatively high load because the pawl should only be unlocked when the warp thread is at a higher tension. The warp thread also has to constantly absorb the frictional force that occurs between the pawl and a toothing that switches the bobbin.

The invention has for its object to provide a particularly improved in this regard device.

The invention consists in that the pawl is attached to a swivel lever, which is in a limited, mutual movement, allowing a gear connection with the thread tensioner, such that the individual movements corresponding to the specialist movement of the thread tensioner are kept essentially away from the pawl and the swivel - Lever - can only be acted upon by the thread tensioner to unlock the ratchet wheel when the vibration range of the thread tensioner is relocated. This makes it possible to keep the numerous fluctuations in the tension of the warp threads caused by the reed stop and changing of the weaving machine away from the pawl of the leno thread delivery device. These fluctuations are only given to the thread tensioner, which follows them in the form of rapid "dance movements". Only when the area of these dance movements is gradually shifted due to increasing warp thread tension is the pawl finally acted upon by the thread tensioner, whereby the delivery device can be switched on and thread can be supplied later.

Diese werden durch in Fig. 1 schematisch angedeutete Dreherfaden-Liefereinrichtungen 16 erzeugt.1 contains two machine carriages 2, 3, in which the main shaft 5 driven by a motor 4 is mounted. The weft thread 6 is drawn off from a stationary bobbin 8 by means of a projectile 7 and inserted into the shed. The projectile is shot down by a shot 9 and caught in a catch 10. The shafts are denoted by 11, the reed by 12. The fabric 13 is wound onto a fabric tree 14. It contains 15 lathe, e.g. Twist or half-twist bindings. These are generated by leno thread delivery devices 16, which are indicated schematically in FIG. 1.

Each leno thread delivery device is fastened on a support 17 connected to the weaving machine frame and contains a base plate 18. A drive shaft 21, which rotates continuously during operation, for the leno thread delivery device 16 is accommodated in the stay 17. On it sits a pinion 22 which meshes with two gear wheels 23. Each gear wheel 23 is seated on an axis 25 which is rotatably mounted in the base plate 18 and carries a disk 26 at the top. During the weaving operation, leno thread supply bobbins can be attached to these, only one of which is shown in FIGS. 2 to 5 and designated 29.

The discs 26 visible on the right in FIG. 2 are driven via their gear wheels 23 and an intermediate gear wheel 31. This is in engagement with the gear 22.

With each disc 26, a thread guide tube 33 (FIGS. 3, 5) is coupled for rotation, through which the pair of threads 45, 46 coming from the two associated bobbins 29 in FIGS. 3, 5 are derived downward and, for example, a twine turner pulley fed and then introduced into the weaving machine.

On each disc 26, in addition to each ratchet wheel 27 or the associated spool 29, an axle 35 is fastened, on which a control lever 37 provided with a thread eyelet 36 and a pivot lever 40 provided with a thread eyelet 38 and a curved slot 39 are rotatable and supported one above the other. The pivot lever 40 has at its rear end a pawl 41 which cooperates with the ratchet wheel 27. Furthermore, the control lever 37 has a bolt 42 which projects into the slot 39 of the associated pivot lever 40.

During operation, the four disks 26 are continuously rotated from the drive shaft 21 in accordance with the arrows 43 (FIG. 2), so that a respective pair of coils 29 arranged on one and the same disk 26 is rotated around one at the upper end of the Thread guide tube 33 arranged thread eyelet 44 rotates. The leno thread drawn off from the bobbin denoted by 29a in FIG. 4 is shown continuously and with 45, the thread drawn off from bobbin 29 is shown in broken lines and denoted by 46. The bobbins 29 and 29a rotate in FIG. 4 in accordance with the arrows 47, 48. The threads 45, 46 are drawn off in accordance with the arrows 49, 51 and run downward through the eyelet 44 and arrow 52 through the thread guide tube 33 in FIG. 5 off to the loom.

As indicated in the upper lever 37 in FIG. 4, it initially swings out completely, so that its bolt 42 is located on the outer end 43 of the slot 39 of the pivoting lever 40. If, due to the warp thread consumption or leno thread consumption in the weaving machine, the lever 37 is successively pivoted further against a spring 55 arranged on the axis 35 and adjustable by a screw 54, the thread loop 56 is shortened and the bolt 42 finally reaches the other end 57 of the slot 39, cf. The position 37a of the lower control lever in FIG. 4.

When the control lever 37 is pivoted further in, the pivot lever 40 is carried along by the control lever 37a via the bolt 42. Both levers 37a, 40 are pivoted clockwise about the axis 35 in FIG. 4. The pawl 41 is lifted out. As a result, the ratchet wheel is shifted further by a switching step according to arrow 47 under the action of the low tension of the thread 45 generated by the spring 55. As a result of the decreasing tension in the thread 45, the control lever 37a in FIG. 4 is pivoted counterclockwise, as a result of which the pivot lever 40 can also follow in the same direction. As a result, the pawl 41 is lowered again and moved in front of the next tooth 57 of the ratchet wheel 27. The ratchet wheel 27 and the associated coil 29a are again secured against rotation. The process on the levers 37, 40 is repeated.

The axis 35 continues in FIG. 5 at the top into a threaded bolt 61, on which the steep nut 54 is rotatable and can be locked with a nut 62. The upper end 63 of the spring 55 is anchored in the nut 54. The tension of the spring 55 can thus also be set to a desired level during weaving operation.

Fig. 7.The leno thread delivery device can e.g. can be used as a full-turn device. For this purpose, a thread disc is to be connected to the thread guide tube 33. It can also be used in conjunction with a half-turn device. For this purpose, the thread guide tube 33 is e.g. to connect a leno cord suspended in the shafts 11 of the weaving machine 1. The drive 21, 23 of disk 26 is omitted in this case, cf. Fig. 7.

In the case of a modified design, the device contains e.g. on the base plate 18 only two disks 26 with associated pairs of coils 29, 29a.

In all of the embodiments, there is control of the removal or withdrawal of the leno threads 45, 46 from the bobbins 29 by the parts 37, 40, 41, 27 depending on the tension of these threads.

The spring action of the pivoting movement of the control lever 37 can also be used to ensure that the length differences of the leno threads 45, 46 which occur during the rotation of a downstream twisting disc or during the up and down movement of the shafts 11 are absorbed and the leno threads are always under approximately the same Tension can be kept.
