Description

The present invention relates to a train for renewing or maintaining a railway track, comprising, in addition to the wagons for transporting the rails, sleepers and fasteners, at least one train of working wagons comprising a deposition wagon. , a stripping wagon, a laying wagon, at least one articulated element connecting two working wagons mounted on a chassis equipped to move in the area of the track without rails on the ballast and / or on the stripped bench, wagon wagon, means of transport for ballast, as well as means of transport for old sleepers or spans and new sleepers.

The renewal of a railroad includes, in addition to the replacement of rails and sleepers, the renewal of the ballast, because an old ballast, soiled with detritus and clogged, no longer has the required elasticity and permeability properties. On the other hand, the successive additions of gravel during the operations of rectification and stuffing of the sleepers have the effect of raising the track, which has serious drawbacks mainly when passing engineering structures.

A railway renewal or maintenance train as mentioned at the beginning and working continuously is known from DE-A-2,023,931 and consists of two trains of several wagons and, in the work area devoid of rails, an articulated intermediate part. This intermediate part comprises a first beam which supports the tools for removing the rails and the sleepers and which is supported by its front end, in the direction of work of the train, on the rear part of the last wagon of the first train intended for transport. and in the storage of the deposited elements of the track, the rear part of the beam being secured to an axle carrier provided with retractable wheels for moving on the rails. A second axle carrier, identical to the first, is integral with the front part, in the direction of work of the train, of a second beam supporting the laying tools and resting by its rear end on the front part of the first wagon of the second train intended for the storage and transport of the elements to be laid on the track. Between the two axle carriers is suspended by two articulations a frame movable in height forming said articulated element and mainly supporting an excavator, a screener, ballast transport elements and a control cabin. The two ends of said articulated element are provided at the location of the articulations with the axle carriers, with two tracked devices. Thus in the working area the wheels of the axle carriers can be retracted and it is then the tracked devices which support the two axle carriers and the articulated element with the working tools. For high movement, the articulated element and the tracked devices which are integral with it are retracted and the wheels of the axle carriers are lowered to come into contact with the rails and then support the articulated element and the tools.

Dans ledit train de renouvellement sont incorporés des organes de dégarnissage et de transport du ballast vers une cribleuse installée sur un wagon placé en dehors de la zone de renouvellement.CH-A-583822, which relates to a process for the complete renewal of a railway track, in which the operations for removing the old track, stripping and screening the ballast and laying the new track are carried out in only one pass of the complete renewal train, provided for this purpose. The same patent also includes a train for the complete renewal of a railway track, comprising, in addition to the wagons for transporting the rails, sleepers and fasteners, at least one laying and removal train equipped with gantries, and frame wagons, as known to CH-A-549.692 and CH-A-585.814 from the same licensees. In said renewal train are incorporated bodies for stripping and transporting the ballast to a screen installed on a wagon placed outside the renewal area.

The increasingly tight requirements due to the ever increasing traffic prohibits the use of the second track for the works, which means that these must be executed always faster and with machines which despite their increased width must enter in the authorized template.

The object of the present invention is to provide a renewal or maintenance train which fits even better into the clearance gauge, while allowing the width of the working wagons to be increased and their wheelbase to be reduced.

The renewal or maintenance train according to the invention is characterized in that each articulated element is a connecting frame connecting on the one hand the deposit and stripping wagons and on the other hand makes the stripping and laying wagons the axles of which are located in said zone devoid of rails, the chassis of each connecting frame being retractable so as to be lowered more or less relative to the connecting frame so as to raise said axles by the fact that the guide parts are provided for maintain the chassis of at least one wagons connected by a connection frame in the plane passing through the sides of said connection frame or parallel to it, that each connection frame is provided with hydraulic stops for adjustment and maintenance from its angular position relative to the chassis of the adjacent working wagon and that each retractable chassis is provided with steering means.

The advantage obtained consists in the fact that two work wagons provided at their ends with axles or bogies can be articulated in three elements thanks to the intercalation of a very simple connecting frame, resting on a tracked chassis. In this way it is obtained that relatively wide working wagons can be maintained in the clearance gauge, in particular in the curves, and that for walking high with the foot each wagon can roll normally on its own axles or boggies. In addition, the main working tools are not supported neither by axle carriers nor by articulated elements, but they are supported by three wagons which lend themselves more easily to rapid movement in the high position.

The tracked chassis supporting the connection frame will advantageously be provided with propulsion and guiding means, so as to allow optimal registration of the train in the passage template.

In the following, the invention is explained in more detail using drawings representing only one embodiment.
  • Figures 1 and 2 schematically represent the arrangement of a track renewal train according to the invention.
  • Figure 3 shows geometrically the registration of the train in a curve.
  • Figure 4 is an elevational view of the junction of a working wagon with the connecting frame.

The renewal train is made up of six main elements, shown diagrammatically in FIGS. 1 and 2, namely a screener, not shown, a deposit wagon 5, a stripping machine 6, a laying wagon 7, a wagon and a gantry with transport beam, not shown.

The screening machine and the wagon, not described here, are normal wagons with two bogies. The deposit wagon 5, the stripper 6 and the laying wagon 7 constitute an articulated train fitted with six bogies 12 to 17 and two tracked chassis 11 and 11 '.

During work, the screening machine and the first bogie 12 of the deposit wagon 5 roll on the old track 1. The central part of the train rests on the two track chassis 11 and 11 'which roll respectively on the ballast and on the excavated bench, or on the screened ballast. The rear bogie 17 of the laying wagon 7 as well as the draw wagon roll on the new track 4.

The working wagons 5, 6, 7 are interconnected by connecting frames 8, 8 'resting on the tracked chassis 11, 11'. Each connecting frame 8, 8 ′ connects two wagons by means of cardan joints 9. Guide pieces 10 serve to maintain the chassis of the wagon concerned in its transverse position relative to the connecting frame 8, that is to say in the plane passing through the sides of the connecting frame or parallel to it, and , hydraulic stops 42 maintain the connection frame concerned in a longitudinal position determined relative to the chassis of the wagon.

Les points géométriques A, B, C, D, E, F et b, c, d, e sont reportés sur la figure 1.During work, the two tracked chassis 1 1, 1 1 'with the connecting frames 8, 8' are guided as shown diagrammatically in FIG. 3. The geometric points A, B, C, D, E, F and b, c, d, e are shown in Figure 1.

  • - soit par une commande manuelle.
The two tracked chassis 11, 11 'are mounted on turntables. They are lowered, raised and guided by hydraulic cylinders. A hydrostatic drive allows a variable working speed. There are three ways to guide the tracks:
  • - either by sensors mounted on crawler chassis, using the parallel track as a reference,
  • - either by a device controlled by the position of the old track 1 measured by rail probes, mounted on a wagon placed in front of the work area, for example the screening machine, as well as by a system for measuring the angles α, [ j, y, 8 between the connection frames 8, 8 'and the adjacent work cars (fig. 3),
  • - either by manual control.

The automatic controls are designed in such a way that the two tracked chassis 11, 11 ′ follow the layout of the old track or a parallel layout if the distances between the tracks are to be modified.

In the wagon are mounted, the conveyors 18 for the excavated material and, above, the conveyors 19 for the recovered ballast. The removal and transport of the old sleepers 32 is carried out using a hydraulic picker 20, chain conveyors 21, an elevator not shown and a conveyor 23 which transports the old sleepers on wagons. chagement. The stripper 6 (fig. 1) is equipped with two bogies 14 and 15, an excavator 30, a ballast metering device and transport elements for the ballast, the sleepers or the spans. This wagon is connected at the head to the deposition wagon 5 and at the tail to the laying wagon 7, each time by means of an articulated connection frame 8, 8 'provided with a tracked chassis 11, 11'.

The laying wagon 7 fitted with two bogies 16 and 17 is fitted with laying members for new sleepers with the transport elements, rails laying members and the ballast distributor. During work, this wagon rests forward on the 8 'tracked connecting frame and back on the bogie 17 which rolls on the new track 4. In the rear part of the laying wagon are mounted the laying members of new rails with roller clamps.

The foregoing description relates, by way of example, to the application of the invention to a track renewal train. Of course, the invention also applies to any train track maintenance in accordance with the content of the claims.
