Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a divan chair with arms, backrest and legs foldable on the seat plane.

In the current state of the art there is a wide variety of chairs and / or couches constituted by foldable elements.

However, structures with folding systems are not known to make it possible to produce a flat shape during folding, which is very advantageous and suitable for the requirements of packaging, storage, transport, etc., and / or one can use the same system either for the chairs, or for the couches or in any case for chair or seat structures where there are several places seated next to each other.

The object of the present invention is to produce a divan chair not delimited in its length and yet in the seated places, where substantially the said divan chair is foldable on the plane of the seat constituting the said seated places by constituting when is folded, a practical flat set to be wrapped, stored and transported with very limited space.

As can be clearly seen in the figures, the sofa-chair comprises a horizontal rectangular tray with seat 1 on the rear edge of which is articulated: at 2 the rectangular back panel delimited in the opening by a stop 4 which can backrest fold as shown by the arrow in fig.2 flat on the seat tray 1.

In the lateral edges of the seat 1 are articulated at 5 the two arm panels 6, which can also slide along a pair of grooves 7 where the said hinge 5 passes. This lateral arm panel 6 extends downwards where is articulated at 8 in a joint position, with the respective pair of lateral legs 9 which are in turn articulated, superiorly at 10 below the seat 1. This articulation is made so that the legs 9 and the arms 6 open have the form of fig.1,1A being the grooves 7 which delimit the sliding of the arms 6 in the joint 5 perspective, and this so that the legs 9 that the arms 6 can be folded below in adhesion of the plate due to seat 1 thanks to the sliding of the arms 6 by the grooves 7 and pivoting in the articulations 5, 8, 10.

This completes the folding of the couch seat as explained.
