Beim Füllen der genannten Kästen mit trockenen und feinkörnigen Formstoffen wie z. B. Quarzsand läßt sich eine Staubbildung nicht vermeiden. Dieser Staub verschmutzt nicht nur Gießereihallen und Umwelt, er ist auch gefundheitsschädlich. Es hat daher nicht an Vorschlägen gefehlt, die Entwicklung von Staub beim Füllen der Kästen zu vermeiden. Die bisher bekannten Lösungen arbeiten aber teils unbefriedigend, teils zu unwirtschaftlich. Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine wirtschaftlich tragbare Vorrichtung zu entwickeln, die ein Füllen der Kästen ohne Staubentwicklung zuläßt.When filling the boxes mentioned with dry and fine-grained molding materials such. Erfindungsgemäß ist eine Füllvorrichtung für den genannten Zweck so ausgebildet, daß die aus einem Behälter zur Aufnahme der Formstoffe bestehende Vorrichtung einen dem oberen Rand der zu füllenden Formkästen angepaßten, auf -den Formkästen aufsetzbaren unteren Rand und eine gelochte Bodenplatte mit verschließbaren Öffnungen hat, von cenen ein Teil mit dem Inneren des Behälters und ein Teil mit Luftabzugkenälen in Verbindung steht. Vorzugsweise besteht der Boden des Behälters aus drei gleichmäßig gelochten und übereinander angeordneten Blechen, von denen das mittlere verschiebbar ist, wobei ein Teil der Öffnungen des in der Füllrichtung oben liegenden Bleches mit dem Behälterinneren und ein anderer Teil mit Luftkanälen in Verbindung steht. Nach einem weiteren Vorschlag der Erfindung ist mit dem oberen und mit dem unteren Rand des Behälters je ein aus Hohlprofilen gebildeter Rahmen verbunden und an der Innenseite-des unteren Rahmens sind Luftkanäle angeschlossen und in der Innenwand des oberen Rahmens in den Innenraum des Behälters mündende Löcher angebracht.According to the invention, a filling device is designed for the purpose mentioned so that the device consisting of a container for holding the molding materials has a lower edge adapted to the upper edge of the molded boxes to be filled and placed on the molded boxes and a perforated hole Has bottom plate with closable openings, a part of which communicates with the interior of the container and a part with ventilation ducts. Nunmehr wird mit Hilfe des Zylinders 24 das Blech 7 so verschoben, daß die Öffnungen 10 und 11 freigelegt werden. Gleichzeitig wird das Gebläse 13 eingeschaltet. Dieses saugt die im Formkasten befindliche Luft zusammen mit dem anfallenden Staub ab und fördert ihn durch die Löcher 25 wieder in den Behälter. Man erreicht so, daß der Formkasten staubfrei gefüllt werden kann, wobei die aus dem Formkasten abzuführende Luft zugleich als Transportmittel für den im Kasten entstandenen Staub dient.
