Description

The invention relates to a one-piece blank on foldable material for a rectangular or square crate in plan, consisting of a floor to which opposite end and side walls of the same height are articulated, of which the side walls are each one with recesses on its upper longitudinal edge secure storage of containers or the like. wear the perforated plate provided, the width of which corresponds to half the floor width, and a supporting web is articulated on the outer longitudinal edge, while the side walls form stack supports in their front area, one leg of which extends into the adjacent perforated plate, which has a cutout in this area, while the second leg is articulated on the front edge of the side wall or the first leg, a tab being articulated on each front edge of the two perforated plates and the second leg of each stacking support has a locking part, the lower support edge of which has the lower longitudinal edge and the upper one Align the support edge with the upper longitudinal edge of the adjacent side wall.

The invention further relates to a crate made from such a blank. The cut described above can be found in DE-A-2 118 746. Here, the support webs articulated on the perforated plates lie loosely on their base when the crate is erected. The flaps articulated on the front edges of the perforated plates loosely overlap the end walls when the crate is upright.

  • a) Zumindest eine aus dem Boden ausgestanzte Bodenlasche, deren Höhe etwa der der Stirn- bzw. Seitenwandung entspricht und die eine parallel zur Stirnwandung verlaufende Biegelinie sowie an ihrem gegenüberliegenden Ende einen keilförmigen Einschnitt aufweist, der mit der Längsmittellinie des Bodens fluchtet und in einen Schlitz mündet, dessen Tiefe zusammen mit der des Einschnitts zumindest der Höhe der an den Lochplatten hängenden Stützstege entspricht;
  • b) bei dem Ausschnitt in den Lochplatten entspricht das Mass am stirnseitigen Rand als Differenz der Höhe des zweiten Schenkels und der Höhe der Stirn- bzw. Seitenwandung, ausgehend von dem oberen Längsrand der Seitenwandung, der Breite des zweiten Schenkels der Stapelstütze ohne Arretierungsteil;
The invention has for its object to improve the blank explained above so that a tray with higher stability, in particular with higher torsional stiffness results, the blank delivered to the customer in a flat state and erected and glued there with so-called erecting machines shall be. This object is achieved according to the invention by the following features:
  • a) At least one bottom flap punched out of the floor, the height of which corresponds approximately to that of the front or side wall and which has a bending line running parallel to the front wall and a wedge-shaped incision at its opposite end, which is aligned with the longitudinal center line of the floor and into a slot opens, the depth of which, together with that of the incision, corresponds at least to the height of the supporting webs hanging on the perforated plates;
  • b) in the cutout in the perforated plates, the dimension at the end edge corresponds to the difference between the height of the second leg and the height of the end or side wall, starting from the upper longitudinal edge of the side wall, the width of the second leg of the stacking support without locking part;
  • c) the tabs hinged to the perforated plates are adhesive tabs.

To facilitate the erection process, it is advantageous if the outer contour of the second leg of the stack support extends from the front edge of the first leg to the upper support edge of the locking part in a circular arc.

  • a) Die zweiten Schenkel der Stapelstützen liegen zusammen mit ihrem Arretierungsteil gegen die Innenseite der benachbarten Stirnwandung an;
  • b) die an den Lochplatten hängenden Klebelaschen übergreifen die Stirnwandungen und sind mit deren Aussenseite verklebt;
  • c) die Lochplatten liegen stirnseitig auf dem oberen Auflagerrand der sich auf dem Boden abstützenden Arretierungsteile sowie auf den Stirnwandungen auf;
According to the invention, a crate made from the new blank has the following features:
  • a) The second legs of the stack supports lie together with their locking part against the inside of the adjacent end wall;
  • b) the adhesive tabs hanging on the perforated plates overlap the end walls and are glued to the outside thereof;
  • c) the perforated plates lie on the end face on the upper support edge of the locking parts supported on the floor and on the end walls;
  • d) the front edges of the support webs lie against the inside of the sitter walls.

It is expedient if the adhesive connections between the adhesive flaps and the end walls are the only adhesive points.

A further increase in the stability of the crate is achieved when the two support webs are pressed into the slot of the vertically bent-up base plates.

The main advantage is seen in the fact that the new cut can be used to produce a crate which, compared to the crates previously known, has a considerably higher stability, in particular torsional stiffness, and can therefore consist of thinner cardboard material. This high stability results firstly from the adhesive tabs of the perforated plates, which overlap the end walls, and from the two supporting webs which lie against one another in the longitudinal center plane and prevent the perforated plates from bending. Since the support webs abut the inside of the end walls, compressive forces acting on the end walls can be better absorbed and derived. Above all, however, the end edges of the support webs form an abutment when the adhesive tabs are pressed against the end walls from the outside in order to be glued to them.

The stability of the crate can be increased enormously by means of the explained base plate or base plates, since both support webs can then be pressed into the slots of the base plates which are bent upwards and can thereby be locked.

On the one hand, the two perforated plates are held firmly against each other, on the other hand, the perforated plates can be supported on the base plates. Compressive forces acting on the perforated plates from above are also diverted into the latter via the support webs and the bottom of the slot in the base plate.

Since the second leg of each stacking support engages precisely in a corresponding cutout of the perforated plates when the crate is erected, which in turn rests on the end face on the upper support edge of the locking parts supported on the floor, a very exact and stable alignment of the stacking supports is ensured. It is particularly advantageous for the production that the only adhesive points are between the adhesive tabs and the end walls. The second legs of the stack supports can therefore rest loosely together with their locking parts against the inside of the end walls. Gluing between the two supporting webs is also not necessary. Since the only glue points are on the outside of the end walls and not on the bottom of the tray, the glue cannot be destroyed in the wet or when packaged products leak out.

Depending on the size of the tray, one or more base plates can be provided. The wedge-shaped incision in the bottom flap serves for easier insertion of the support webs into the slot in the bottom flap when the crate is erected. In order to also lock the exact position of the bent-up base plate, a locking notch can be provided at the corresponding point in the support webs.

Since the new crate is not pre-glued, the blank can be stored or shipped flat and thus requires considerably less storage and transport space than the pre-glued crates explained at the beginning.

The high stability of the new crate is achieved with very little material. Among other things, this achieved in that the support webs no longer need to be as high as the side walls. The «missing» height is replaced by the bottom flaps punched out of the bottom of the crate.

In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown. Show it:
  • 1 shows a blank in plan view,
  • Figure 2 shows the tray made from the blank according to Figure 1 in front view (left half of the illustration) and in cross section (right half of the illustration) and
  • Figure 3 shows the erected crate in perspective.

According to FIG. 1, the blank shown comprises a rectangular base 1, to which opposite end walls 2 and side walls 3 each having the same height h are articulated. At the upper longitudinal edge 4 of the side walls 3, a perforated plate 5 is articulated, the width of which corresponds to half the floor width, and the like with recesses 6 for securely holding containers. are provided. A support web 8 is articulated to the longitudinal edge 7 of each perforated plate 5, which lies on the outside when the blank is cut flat, and has exactly the same length as the perforated plates 5 5 extends, while the second leg 10 is hinged to the front edge 11 of the side walls 3 and the first leg 9. The second legs 10 each have a locking part 12, the lower support edge with the lower longitudinal edge 14 and the upper support edge 15 with the upper longitudinal edge 4 of the adjacent side wall 3 approximately aligned. The perforated plates 5 have a cutout 16 in the area of the stacking corners, the dimension m of which on the front edge 11, starting from the upper longitudinal edge 4 of the side wall 3, corresponds to the width b of the second leg 10 of the stacking support without locking part 12.

On the remaining end edge 11a of the two perforated plates 5, an adhesive tab 18 is articulated. From the bottom 1, two bottom tabs 19 are punched out, which have a bending line 20 running parallel to the end wall 2 and at their opposite end a wedge-shaped incision 21 which is aligned with the longitudinal center line 22 of the bottom 1 and opens into a slot 23, the depth t of which together with that of the incision 21 corresponds at least to the height a of the supporting webs 8 hanging on the perforated plates 5.

The end edges 24 of the end walls 2 are designed in the shape of a circular arc. The outer contour 25 of the second leg 10 of the stack supports extends from the front edge 11 of the first leg 9 to the upper bearing edge 15 of the locking part 12 in a circular arc.

Figure 2 shows the upright and glued tray consisting of the blank according to Figure 1. The left half of the illustration, which shows an end view of the crate, shows that the adhesive tabs 18 hanging on the perforated plates 5 overlap the end walls 2. The hatching 26 is intended to symbolize the adhesive point between the adhesive tab 18 and the outside of the end wall 2.

The right half of FIG. 2 shows a cross section through the crate, so that one looks towards the inside of the rear end of the crate. This shows that the second leg 10 of the stacking support, together with its locking part 12, lies loosely against the inside of the adjacent end wall 2. It can also be seen that the perforated plates 5 rest on the end face on the upper support edge 15 of the locking parts 12 supported on the floor 1 and on the end walls 2. The cutout 16 in the perforated plates 5 is dimensioned such that the second leg 10 of each stack support rests against the perforated plate 5 at the transition point to the upper bearing edge 15 of the locking part 12.

Finally, the right-hand illustration of FIG. 2 shows that in each case the support web 8 articulated on a perforated plate 5 is pressed from above through the wedge-shaped incision 21 into the slot 23 of the upwardly bent base plates 19.
