Ein derartiger Handschutz für den Karatesport ist aus dem DE-GM 78 08 068 bekannt. Dieser Handschutz ist aber im Handbereich nur schwach und im Bereich der Finger etwas stärker gekrümmt. Die für die Ausübung des Karatesportes jedoch erforderliche Faustballung muß durch eine Kraftanstrengung erreicht werden, indem nämlich der Sportler den Handschutz in die erforderliche Form biegt. Dies führt bei dem bekannten Handschutz jedoch zu einer schnellen Ermüdung des Sportlers. Außerdem ist die Befestigung des bekannten Handschutzes im Unterarmbereich ohne Hilfsperson praktisch nicht möglich, da das plattenförmige Material um den Unterarm herumgebogen und mit Bändern befestigt werden muß. Nachteilig ist ferner, daß der schlauchartige Daumenschutz nach vorn offen ist. Dadurch sind Kratzverletzungen des Gegners möglich, und außerdem kann auch der Träger des Handschutzes selbst am Daumen erheblich verletzt werden.Such hand protection for karate sports is known from DE-GM 78 08 068. Ferner ist aus der DE-OS 24 60 582 eine Schutzvorrichtung für Arm und Hand gezeigt, die im wesentlichen aus einem flach zugeschnittenen Kunststoff- oder Schaumstoffstück besteht, das entsprechend zusammengewölbt und zusammengeklebt ist. Abgesehen von der geringen Dauerfestigkeit eines solchen Schutzes ist aber der Fingerbereich nur durch eine flache Schale geschützt, die durch über die Außenseite durchgezogene Bänder mit den Fingern bzw. der Handfläche gehalten werden kann. Dadurch, daß sich die Haltebänder auch über die Außenseite des Handschutzes erstrecken, ist eine erhebliche Verletzungsgefahr gegeben. Schließlich ist aus dem DE-GM 74 12 063 ein sehr einfacher Boxhandschuh dargestellt, der zwar aus einem Polyurethan-Integralschaum besteht, der aber als echter Sporthandschuh kaum zu gebrauchen ist, da er nur eine einzige Höhlung zur Aufnahme der gesamten Hand aufweist, wobei die Finger auch nur um maximal 90 0 abgewinkelt werden können und auch ein gesonderter Daumen nicht vorgesehen ist.Furthermore, from DE-OS 24 60 582 a protective device for arm and hand is shown, which consists essentially of a flat-cut piece of plastic or foam, which is arched and glued accordingly. - 2. der Unterarmbereich besteht aus einem den Unterarm umschließenden Rohr, das auf der Arm-Innenseite über seine ganze Länge mit einem schmalen Schlitz versehen ist;
- 3. der Handbereich ist nach einer geschlossenen Faust ballonförmig geformt, im Bereich der Fingerspitzen um etwa 180 0 gegenüber dem Handrückenbereich zurückgebogen und weist als Fingerhalterung einen innenliegenden, angeformten Steg auf;
- 4. die Daumenschutzhülle ist an ihrem äußeren Ende geschlossen.

Der in den Figuren 1 und 2 insgesamt mit dem Bezugszeichen 10 versehene Handschuzt besteht aus einem weichen Polyurethan-Integralschaum als einstückig ausgeschäumtes Formteil. Der wesentliche Vorteil eines derartigen Integralschaumes besteht in der fast geschlossenen Hautoberfläche, die während des Schäumvorganges eine verdichtete Randzone bildet, die sandwichartig in den zelligen Kern übergeht. Die dabei vorhandene regelmäßige molekulare Vernetzung bewirkt eine außergewöhnlich hohe Elastizität. Bei einer Verformung bzw. einem Aufprall nimmt der Polyurethan-Integralschaum die kinetische Energie auf und stellt sich nach Entlastung völlig in seine ursprüngliche Form zurück. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß durch die geschlossene Zellstruktur und die nicht richtungsorientierten Zellwände sich ein Luftkissen-Bremseffekt einstellt, der eine Absorption der Stöße und eine optimale Rückfederung gewährleistet. Die massive Haut des Formteils, die sandwichartig in den zelligen Kern übergeht, entsteht bei dem formgeschäumten Werkstück in einem Arbeitsgang aus demselben Material.The gloves provided with the
