Claims (13)

1. 12. Hand guard according to claim 1 to 3, characterised in that the foamed material preform (1) has a layer of leather or imitation leather on its inner side in the region of the back of the hand (2).
13. Hand guard according to claim 7, characterised in that, prior to its insertion into the cover, the foamed material preform is wrapped in a thin slidable film, in particular a polyethylene film.
