Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for separating folded waste copies in web-fed rotary printing presses on a delivery of a folder, in which the folded printed copies are conveyed in scales on a conveyor belt, with a stepped pair of rollers for the fan-shaped deflection of the copy stream, with a separating roller in the separating out the waste copies is pivoted in, which redirects the copy flow.
To the z. B. when changing rolls in the area of gluing waste copies, an embodiment is known (DE-PS 25 13 774) in which the copy flow is deflected by a separating roller. The redirected waste copies are gripped by a drum wrapped in tapes and transported at the higher conveying speed of the drum. This acceleration of the individual copies is necessary in order to achieve a separation of the copy flow and to return it to the delivery in the intended transport direction after the intended waste copies have been removed.
A disadvantage of the known embodiment is that the normal scale-like copy flow is disturbed by the acceleration of the paper copies, because each paper copy to be accelerated is completely pulled out from the subsequent scale-shaped copies, whereby these are moved on the conveyor belt. This can lead to malfunctions in the subsequent further processing of the specimen stream.
The object of the invention is to provide a device for rejecting waste copies, which is simple in its construction and enables rejection without disturbing the scale-like copy flow, the waste copies to be eliminated not should be accelerated.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that a deflection roller is provided approximately horizontally in front of the pair of rollers in the transport direction of the printed copies, which deflects the conveyor belt with the copy downwards, so that the fanning out between the deflection roller and the first roller of the pair of rollers takes place and that the deflecting roller drives an additional short ribbon line which can be pivoted about the deflecting roller, in such a way that it guides the printed copies to the display in the working position and in the pivoted-back position passes the waste copies onto a deposit belt line, the pivoting tensioning roller belonging to the ribbon line being transferred via a coupling rod is coupled to a further pivot lever which carries at its outer end the separating roller which pivots between the fanned-out copies when the strip line is pivoted back and the subsequent waste copies are scaled via the pivoted-back strip line of the depositing band line feeds. In addition to the simple structure, the described solution ensures that the copies are safely discarded, even with a small number of pages, without accelerating the discarded waste copies, so that the printed copies are prevented from being shifted on the tapes and the copy stream is not disturbed.
In order to adjust the device to the particular nature of the specimens, the first roller of the pair of rollers is supported by levers on the axis of the deflection roller and can be pivoted about the latter. This allows the fanning out of the specimens to be optimally adjusted.

From the
In the transport direction of the printed
Via a
In Figure 3, the
