Description

The invention relates to a patient couch or seat device with a paper dispenser roll rotatably arranged in the region of one end of its couch or seat surface and with a drivable winding device arranged in the region of the other end of the couch or seat surface, with which the paper section used is simultaneously wound up fresh piece of paper is pulled from the dispenser roll over the lying or sitting surface.

It is known to cover lying or seat devices serving treatment or examination purposes with a paper web in order to prevent any direct contact between the patient's body and the bed. After a patient has used the couch, the used section of the paper is removed and a fresh section of paper is unwound from the paper dispenser roll and placed over the couch or seat. This principle of the disposable cloth provides the best protection against the transmission of bacteria from a patient to a patient who is subsequently treated on the same couch or seat device.

In the practical handling of such lying or sitting facilities covered with paper webs, it has now been found that the removal of the used paper section is generally very cumbersome, since this used paper must either be folded up or crumpled, which is particularly time-consuming when it is is a section of paper that has covered an entire patient table. The disposal of the used paper takes up too much time, which is particularly uncomfortable, since this activity often has to be carried out by the doctor himself, and in addition large capacities of waste containers are required to accommodate the used paper sections.

In a known device of the type mentioned (FR-A-21 92 797) the connection of the paper web to the take-up device and the removal of the used paper waste roll from the take-up device is quite complicated and time-consuming.

The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a generic patient bed or seating device in which the connection of the paper web to the winding device and the removal of the used paper waste roll from the winding device can be carried out simply and quickly.

To achieve this object, it is proposed according to the invention that the winding device comprises a rotatably mounted slotted mandrel, into the slot of which the beginning of the paper web to be unwound from the dispenser roll can be inserted, that the slot extends to the one end of the mandrel, forming two prongs, and that on the free ends of the tines a cover plate can be plugged on, which has a block engaging between the tines, which holds the tines in the spread state, so that when the cover plate is separated from the mandrel the tines go together and thereby easy removal of the mandrel from the waste paper roll is ensured.

In order to make the removal of the waste paper roll particularly quick and easy, the end plate in a further embodiment of the invention has a locking device which interacts with the free ends of the prongs of the mandrel, which enables the end plate to be simply plugged onto the ends of the prongs without any additional handles are required to secure the lens on the tines.

In a further embodiment of the invention, it is proposed that the rotary actuation of the mandrel be carried out by means of a handwheel, which proves to be particularly advantageous if it is a patient bed or seat device with a relatively small bed or seat area, since a handwheel is the most space-saving option represents a rotary operation.

In the event that it is a device with a larger lying or seating area, as e.g. have conventional medical couches, it is advantageous to provide a crank as a rotary actuation of the mandrel, since such a crank allows the paper web used, which is generally between 1.8 and 2 m long, to be wound up more quickly.

Retaining clips should be provided for mounting the mandrel and the dispenser roll, which can preferably be adjusted to different paper web widths or mandrel lengths by means of a clamping device in order to enable paper webs of different widths to be used with the same device.

Further developments of the invention, as contained in particular in claims 7 to 13, are explained in the context of the description of exemplary embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The medical couch shown in FIG. 1 has an underframe 6 with four legs 5, on which a lying surface 4, usually designed as a cushion, is arranged. A paper web is laid over this lying surface 4, which is unwound from a dispenser roll 1 and can be wound onto a winding device 2.

The dispenser roll 1 is attached in a holding device at the head end of the bed between the legs 5, while the winding device 2 by means of a holding clip 3 at the foot end of the. Lying between the legs 5 is attached. In the embodiment of FIG. 1, the winding device 2 has a crank 29 as a rotary actuator. If the crank 29 is turned clockwise, the paper web is unwound from the dispenser roll 1 and wound onto the winding device 2.

The core of the winding device 2 is a rotatably mounted slotted mandrel 21, as shown in an oblique view in a first embodiment in FIG. 2. Through the slot 22, two prongs 23 and 24 are formed, on the free ends of which an end plate 25 with block 26a is slipped, as a result of which the prongs 23, 24 are spread apart. The end plate 25 has a locking device 26 which interacts with the free ends of the prongs 23, 24, for example in such a way that these free ends can snap into the locking device 26 with cam-like thickenings 23a, 24a and thus the end plate 25 on the mandrel 21 is secured. The tines can also be made from semicircular profiles as shown in FIG. 6 or from U-shaped, mutually facing profiles (not shown), e.g. B. consist of aluminum. These U-shaped profiles are pushed onto a block connected to the cover plate and designed in accordance with the U-profiles. After pulling off the cover disc, the U-profiles interlock, which makes it particularly easy to pull the mandrel out of the waste paper roll after removing the mandrel from the retaining clip.

In the embodiment of the winding device according to FIG. 3 there is a central bore in the outer surface of the cover disk 25, which serves as a bearing bore and into which a receiving mandrel 32 of a leg 31 of the retaining clip 3 can engage. At the end of the mandrel 21 remote from the end plate 25, a handwheel 28 is fastened, which can be screwed on, as shown in FIG. 3 or can also be plugged onto a bearing pin of the mandrel 21 with a tongue and groove connection or another torque-transmitting connection . Instead of the handwheel 28, a crank 29 can also be fastened to the bearing journal, as is indicated in FIG. 1. The bearing pin of the mandrel 21 is mounted in a bearing jaw 35 of the second leg 33 of the retaining clip 3.

In the first embodiment of the retaining clip 3 shown in FIG. 4, the bearing jaw 35 has a spring cam 34 which serves to secure the bearing pin of the mandrel 21 in the bearing jaw 35. The distance between the two legs 31 and 33 of the retaining clip 3 can be changed in order to be able to accommodate mandrels 21 of different lengths between the bearing points. A clamping device 36 is used to set the desired distance between the legs 31 and 33. Finally, a fastening device 37, 38 is also arranged on the legs 31 and 33 in order to be able to fasten the retaining clip at a suitable point on the patient bed or seat device.

As can be seen from FIGS. 7 and 8, the retaining clip 3 can also be designed in such a way that instead of the legs 31 and 33 according to FIG. 4, bearing blocks 43 with bearing shells 44 open upwards are provided on both sides. The mandrel 21 can be inserted from above into these bearing shells 44, which are open at the top, and is thus rotatably supported. The mandrel 21 is preferably provided at both ends with end disks 25, 25a (see FIG. 8) which have bearing journals 27 matched to the bearing shells 44. To secure the mandrel 21 or the bearing journals 27 of the end disks 25, 25a in the bearing shells 44, slide bolts 45 are provided on the upper side of the bearing blocks 43, which after the bearing journals 27 have been inserted into the bearing shells 44 close the bearing shells 44 open at the top at least as far as that pushing out or taking out this journal and thus the mandrel 21 is no longer possible.

In view of an inexpensive manufacture of the patient bed or seat device, preferably the same end disks 25, 25a should be provided for both the winding device and the dispenser roll, which serve for the storage and centering of the dispenser roll 1 and for the storage of the winding mandrel 21. The end disks 25, 25a (compare FIGS. 5 and 8) then preferably have hollow bearing pins 27, into which the crank 29 can be inserted axially from the outside with a slotted hub 30. This also has the advantage that the crank 29 can be attached to any side of the winding device. The hub 30 of the crank 29 is connected with respect to the end plate 25, 25a, preferably by means of a spline-groove connection, in a torsionally rigid manner. To prevent the crank 29 from slipping axially out of the bearing journal 27, resilient barbs can be provided on the hub 30.

Zur Festklemmung dienen Schraubenbolzen 49, die in entsprechende Gewindelöcher der Grundplatte der Haltespange 3 einschraubbar sind und dabei die Spannpratzen 48 spannen (vergleiche Fig. 7).FIG. 7 shows a fastening device 37, 38 which is an alternative to the fastening device 37, 38 shown in FIG. 4. For this purpose, the base plate of the retaining clip 3 can be clamped with the aid of clamping claws 48 to both vertical and horizontal struts 50 of the lying or sitting device. Screws 49 are used for clamping, which can be screwed into corresponding threaded holes in the base plate of the retaining clip 3 and thereby clamp the clamping claws 48 (cf. FIG. 7).
