Verfahren zum Betrieb eines Walzband-Haspels, dessen Trommel aus mehreren spreizbaren Segmenten besteht, welche sich mit keilförmig ausgebildeten Auflageflächen axial verschiebbar gegen eine in einem Haspelgehäuse drehbar gelagerte Hohlwelle abstützen und mittels eines in der Hohlwelle angeordneten Stempels verstellt werden,
dadurch gekennzeichnet ,
daß die Relativverschiebung (15 bzw. 16) zwischen den Segmenten (8) und der Hohlwelle (1) abgegriffen (21) und in eine entgegengesetzte Verschiebebewegung des Haspelgehäuses (3) auf dem Haspelbett (4) von entsprechender Größe umgesetzt wird (5).
