Damit verknüpft ist das Erfordernis hoher Geschwindigkeit, dichter Wagenfolge und Einhaltung der Fahrplane. Eine wirkungsvolle Disposition des öffentlichen Nahverkehrs erfordert daher die Möglichkeit zur Zwangssteuerung der Grünphasen von Ampelanlagen. Eine solche Z-wangssteuerung ist jedoch noch zwingender beim Einsatz von Rettungs- und Polizeifahrzeugen.
