Definitions
- the invention relates to a fence made of large-area fence elements which can be fastened to posts, and to a kit for producing a fence of this type.
- the invention can be used above all on wooden fences, in particular on wicker fences, but it can also be implemented on fence elements and posts made of another material, for example made of metal.
- the fence elements are usually attached to posts to be sunk into the ground using fittings.
- the fence elements can, for example, each be applied to the side surfaces of the post and fastened there by means of angular fittings which are screwed on the one hand to the post and on the other hand to the vertical edge section of the fence element which adjoins the post.
- This type of fastening generally requires manual skill and the presence of appropriate special tools.
- the posts must be in exactly verti calender position and at a precisely predetermined distance from each other so that the fence elements can be attached to the post.
- the invention provides that a vertical edge section of the fence element to be fastened to the post can be clamped between clamping pieces formed or attachable to the post.
- the fastening of the fence elements to the posts is produced in that the vertical edge section of the fence element in question, which is adjacent to the posts, is held in place by pressing on clamping pieces.
- This clamping connection can be produced with simple means, for example by means of screw bolts with nuts.
- the necessary components, namely posts, fence elements, clamping pieces and bolts such as nuts can be supplied in a simple manner as a kit prepared by the manufacturer so that when the fence is erected, only the posts need to be set, for example by digging in, and the clamping or clamping connection can be produced with a simple wrench.
- the clamping pieces can be designed, for example, as brackets encompassing the post, a screw bolt preferably crossing the post and the bracket-like clamping pieces. In any case, it should be achieved that the vertical edge section can be clamped at the clamping point between two clamping pieces which are connected by nuts through a screw bolt crossing the post and can be pressed onto the edge section from two opposite sides.
- clamping points are preferably distributed over the length of the post.
- the post itself can be designed as one of the two clamping pieces in that the vertical edge section can be clamped at each clamping point between the post and a further clamping piece.
- a particularly preferred embodiment of the fence according to the invention and the kit for this is designed such that the post is divided in the longitudinal direction into two terminal strips, between which adjacent edge sections of successive fence elements, each with a centrally arranged screw bolt with nut, can be clamped at each clamping point
- Embodiment no separate clamping pieces are required, but the post itself consists of two clamping strips, which can be clamped together by means of several screw bolts distributed over the length of the post, taking up and clamping the edge sections to be fastened between them.
- the clamping pieces or clamping strips In order to increase the pressure on the edge sections of the fence elements to be clamped in, the clamping pieces or clamping strips have inner recesses for forming external pressure webs. In this embodiment it is particularly clear that a certain amount of play can be accepted for the distance of the fence elements to the posts, since a secure clamping connection is still possible even if an edge section is only partially in the slot between the clamping pieces or clamping strips is introduced.
- the clamping pieces or the post divided into clamping strips are made of wood, in particular hardwood, which the inventive design of the posts is particularly simple. allows.
- the fence elements preferably consist of braided fence elements bordered by a wooden frame, the vertical frame pieces corresponding to the vertical edge sections to be clamped. This has the further advantage that the pressure on both sides of the vertical frame pieces effectively supports the anchoring of the wickerwork embedded in the grooves of the frame pieces.
- the bolt heads and nuts are expediently countersunk in the clamping pieces or clamping strips.
- fence elements 4 of wickerwork which are edged with frames 5 are fastened between the posts 1.
- the fence elements 4 are preferably made of tropical hardwoods and, like the wooden posts 1, are treated with an impregnating agent in order to achieve greater weather resistance.
- each post 1 is divided in the longitudinal direction into two terminal strips 1a, 1b.
- two spacers 6, which are fastened by means of bolts and nuts, as shown, and as an additional cross anchor give the post an even better hold against wind pressure in the floor 2 (see FIG. 1).
- the two terminal strips 1a, 1b have several along the length of post 1 distributed fixing points aligned holes 7 for receiving a bolt 8 with a nut 9 and washer or spring washers 1 0 in which the two terminal strips 1a, 1b in that of Figure 3 evident ways can be clamped together.
- the head 11 of the bolt 8 is like the nut 9 in Ausbloodun gen 12 arranged sunk.
- Each of the terminal strips 1 a, 1 b is milled out on its inside 13 to form external pressure webs 14. In the space between the two terminal strips 1 a, 1 b are inserted into the vertical frame piece 15 from the right and left, showing that the wattle 17 the fence elements 4 is embedded in grooves 16 of each frame piece 15.
- the terminal strips 1a, 1b are pressed against the frame pieces 15 by tightening the screw bolt 8 with its nut 9 at the clamping points, so that the pressure webs 14 are clamped to the frame pieces 15 with high contact pressure.
- the pressure of the two legs of each frame piece 15, which form the groove 16, on the wickerwork 17 arranged in the groove 16 is also increased, so that there is a further fastening effect for this.
- the fence can be set up using simple tools such as spades (for digging in the posts 1) and wrenches (for tightening the nuts 9 on the bolts 8). It also does not matter whether each vertical frame piece 15, as shown in FIG. 3 per se, is actually pushed into the space between the two terminal strips 1a, 1b up to the point of contact with the screw bolt 8, because it is also in the middle of the post 1 further away, the vertical frame piece 15 is still securely gripped by the opposing pressure bars.
- the vertical frame pieces 15 are also clamped to a post 1, which in this case is undivided, by means of metal clips 18, which are each arranged at a plurality of clamping points and braced on the post 1 by means of the screw bolt 8 in connection with the nut 9 are, for example, a rubber washer 19 is placed between one of the brackets 1.8 and the post 1 in order to achieve a fixation of the brackets 18 on the post 1 in the transverse direction without the clamping pressure exerted on the vertical frame pieces 15 being impaired.
- a metal clip or wooden clip 2o presses the vertical frame pieces 15 firmly against one side surface of the post 1 at each clamping point, the pressure webs 14 on the metal clip 2o and on the abutment side of the post as in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3 1 are formed.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a fence made of large-area fence elements which can be fastened to posts, and to a kit for producing a fence of this type.
The invention can be used above all on wooden fences, in particular on wicker fences, but it can also be implemented on fence elements and posts made of another material, for example made of metal.
Large-scale fence elements are usually attached to posts to be sunk into the ground using fittings. The fence elements can, for example, each be applied to the side surfaces of the post and fastened there by means of angular fittings which are screwed on the one hand to the post and on the other hand to the vertical edge section of the fence element which adjoins the post. This type of fastening generally requires manual skill and the presence of appropriate special tools. The posts must be in exactly verti calender position and at a precisely predetermined distance from each other so that the fence elements can be attached to the post.
There is therefore the task of creating a connection between the posts and the fence elements that is easy to manufacture.
To achieve this object, the invention provides that a vertical edge section of the fence element to be fastened to the post can be clamped between clamping pieces formed or attachable to the post.
According to the basic idea of the invention, the fastening of the fence elements to the posts is produced in that the vertical edge section of the fence element in question, which is adjacent to the posts, is held in place by pressing on clamping pieces. This clamping connection can be produced with simple means, for example by means of screw bolts with nuts. The necessary components, namely posts, fence elements, clamping pieces and bolts such as nuts can be supplied in a simple manner as a kit prepared by the manufacturer so that when the fence is erected, only the posts need to be set, for example by digging in, and the clamping or clamping connection can be produced with a simple wrench. Minor inaccuracies with regard to the position and distance of the posts can be accepted, since the clamp connection does not require an absolutely exact distance of the edge section of the fence element from the post. - Several embodiments are possible for the formation of the clamping pieces. The clamping pieces can be designed, for example, as brackets encompassing the post, a screw bolt preferably crossing the post and the bracket-like clamping pieces. In any case, it should be achieved that the vertical edge section can be clamped at the clamping point between two clamping pieces which are connected by nuts through a screw bolt crossing the post and can be pressed onto the edge section from two opposite sides.
Depending on the fence height, several clamping points are preferably distributed over the length of the post.
The post itself can be designed as one of the two clamping pieces in that the vertical edge section can be clamped at each clamping point between the post and a further clamping piece.
A particularly preferred embodiment of the fence according to the invention and the kit for this is designed such that the post is divided in the longitudinal direction into two terminal strips, between which adjacent edge sections of successive fence elements, each with a centrally arranged screw bolt with nut, can be clamped at each clamping point Embodiment no separate clamping pieces are required, but the post itself consists of two clamping strips, which can be clamped together by means of several screw bolts distributed over the length of the post, taking up and clamping the edge sections to be fastened between them.
In order to increase the pressure on the edge sections of the fence elements to be clamped in, the clamping pieces or clamping strips have inner recesses for forming external pressure webs. In this embodiment it is particularly clear that a certain amount of play can be accepted for the distance of the fence elements to the posts, since a secure clamping connection is still possible even if an edge section is only partially in the slot between the clamping pieces or clamping strips is introduced.
Advantageously, the clamping pieces or the post divided into clamping strips are made of wood, in particular hardwood, which the inventive design of the posts is particularly simple. allows.
The fence elements preferably consist of braided fence elements bordered by a wooden frame, the vertical frame pieces corresponding to the vertical edge sections to be clamped. This has the further advantage that the pressure on both sides of the vertical frame pieces effectively supports the anchoring of the wickerwork embedded in the grooves of the frame pieces.
Expediently, there are clamping points on the section of the post to be countersunk in the ground for receiving spacers or cross anchors. If, instead of simple spacers, cross anchors, namely, for example, slats or the like arranged in the transverse direction of the post, are used, the fence is given better resistance to wind pressure.
Klemmleisten versenkt angeordnet.To avoid the above clamping elements, the bolt heads and nuts are expediently countersunk in the clamping pieces or clamping strips.
- Figure 1 is a front view of a fence formed from three fence elements and four posts;
- FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of a post of the fence from FIG. 1 formed from two clamping strips;
- FIG. 3 shows a cross-sectional view of the post shown in FIG. 2, but with clamped vertical frame pieces of wicker fence elements fastened to the post;
- Figure 4 is a cross-sectional view of a first alternative type of clamp for fence elements on a post;
- Figure 5 is a cross-sectional view of a second alternative clamp of fence elements to a post.
In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 1, four
Fig. 1).As can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3, each
The two
From the above description it can be seen that the fence can be set up using simple tools such as spades (for digging in the posts 1) and wrenches (for tightening the
In the further exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the
In the further exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 5, a metal clip or wooden clip 2o presses the
Preferred embodiment remains, however, the embodiment shown in Figures 1-3, which is characterized by particular simplicity in manufacture and assembly, especially since no fittings are required, since the clamping pieces are produced by the design of the
