Abstract
En la presente descripción se describe un método para estabilizar un volumen de suelo (por ejemplo, un volumen de suelo que define una base de carretera o una sub-base de carretera). El método comprende aplicar al suelo un agente de recubrimiento que comprende una o más sales de ácidos grasos derivados del aceite de coco, de manera que las partículas de suelo en el suelo se recubren con el agente de recubrimiento, y luego aplicar al suelo un agente de fraguado que comprende una sal metálica que es capaz de reaccionar con la una o más sales de ácidos grasos derivados del aceite de coco, con lo cual se forma un producto fraguado.
