Abstract
Se proporciona un método para formar una mezcla de mejora de la fermentación de etanol. El método comprende los pasos de: hidratar una levadura seca con al menos 0.1% de BacLyte o un extracto de plátano en volumen, y un medio de crecimiento de levadura para producir una mezcla de pre-fermentación; y mantener la mezcla de pre-fermentación a una temperatura entre 20°C y 40°C entre 30 minutos y 8 horas para formar la mezcla de mejora. También se proporciona el método adicional para formar una mezcla de mejora de etanol 10. El método comprende los pasos de: proporcionar una solución de levadura activada hidratada; suplementar la solución de levadura activada hidratada con 0.1% a 25% de BacLyte o extracto de plátano en volumen; y mantener la solución de levadura activada hidratada a una temperatura entre 20°C y 40°C entre 30 minutos y 8 horas para formar la mezcla de mejora. También se proporciona un método de fermentación. El método comprende los 15 pasos de preparación de una mezcla de mejora de etanol; añadir la mezcla de mejora a una mezcla de fermentación en masa que contiene una fuente de azúcar; y mantener la mezcla de fermentación en masa a una temperatura de entre 2°C y 40°C para permitir la fermentación de la fuente de azúcar a etanol.
