Abstract
Un sistema modular y método para producir urea a partir de gas natural inmovilizado incluye la remoción de materia particulada extraña para obtener un gas sustancialmente homogéneo. El gas se procesa al controlar la calidad del gas natural inmovilizado para mantener una mezcla sustancialmente homogénea. La corriente de gas resultante además se limpia y se comprime a una alta presión de aproximadamente 211 kg/cm2 (3,000 psi). La corriente de amoníaco resultante se procesa en un sistema de circuito de reciclado de desviación a 30% de proporción de conversión a una alta presión de aproximadamente 422 a 493 kg/cm2 (6,000 a 7,000 psi). El equipo asociado con cada una de las etapas del proceso puede ser montado en correderas para portabilidad y/o contenido dentro de la zona de recepción de un remolque de plataforma de 14.6 metros (48 pies) estándar.
