Abstract
Предложены способы и композиции, в которых используется элемент сайленсинга, который при поглощении насекомым-вредителем растений, таким как жесткокрылое насекомое-вредитель растений или вредитель растений из рода Diabrotica, снижает экспрессию целевой последовательности у вредителя. Раскрыты различные целевые полинуклеотиды, изложенные в любой из раскрываемых здесь SEQ ID NO: 1-54 и 81-84, или их варианты или фрагменты, или комплементарные им последовательности, где путем снижения экспрессии одной или нескольких последовательностей в целевом вредителе осуществляют контроль над вредителем (т.е. наличие инсектицидной активности). Также предусмотрены растения, части растений, бактерии и другие клетки-хозяева, содержащие элементы сайленсинга или их активный вариант или фрагмент по настоящему изобретению.
