Abstract

The components of the water supply system are protected from the damaging effects of excess energy during electro-hydraulic treatment. Ozone gas produced by a high-voltage generator that feeds a plasma discharge is recycled for additional water treatment. The gas injection system can be used to create the smallest bubbles of ozone, air, or other gases in the water being treated to help generate plasma, particularly when the conductivity of the water is high. The electrode mounting assembly maintains high-voltage and ground electrodes at a fixed distance from each other to optimize plasma generation. The open support structure for the high voltage generator circuit physically separates the discharge electrodes and is resistant to metallic deposits that can prevent the output of a high voltage pulse to create a plasma.
