Abstract
Система (10) топливных элементов с жидким электролитом включает в себя по меньшей мере один топливный элемент с камерой жидкого электролита между противоположными электродами, представляющими собой анод и катод, и средства (30, 32) для подачи потока газа в смежную с катодом газовую камеру и отведения потока (38) отработанного газа из смежной с катодом газовой камеры, причем система также включает в себя резервуар (40) для хранения жидкого электролита и средства (42, 44, 47, 48) для циркуляции жидкого электролита между резервуаром (40) для хранения жидкого электролита и топливными элементами. Кроме этого, система включает в себя резервуар (60) для хранения воды, примыкающий к резервуару (40) для хранения электролита, и средства (50, 51) для конденсации водяного пара из потока (38) отработанного газа и для подачи (56) сконденсированного водяного пара в резервуар (60) для хранения воды. Резервуар (60) для хранения воды снабжен переливным отверстием (64) и обеспечивающим сообщение каналом (68), связывающим резервуар (40) для хранения жидкого электролита и резервуар (60) для хранения воды ниже уровня переливного отверстия (64). Благодаря этому автоматически возмещается испарившаяся из электролита вода без необходимости в каком-либо электронном оборудовании.
