Паропроницаемый ботинок (10) с водонепроницаемой и паропроницаемой подошвой, содержащий верх (11) в сборе; подошву (12, 112, 212), присоединенную к верху (11) в сборе и содержащую тело (13), изготовленное из водонепроницаемого материала, которое содержит ходовую часть (14) подошвы и, по меньшей мере одну область (15), проницаемую для водяного пара; одну водонепроницаемую и паропроницаемую мембрану (16), которая покрывает область (15) внутри упомянутого ботинка (10); защитный элемент (17), который покрывает, по меньшей мере частично, нижнюю поверхность (16а) мембраны (16); причем ботинок (10) дополнительно содержит по меньшей мере один водонепроницаемый и паропроницаемый защитный экран (18), наложенный внутри ботинка (10) поверх мембраны (16) таким образом, чтобы она была покрыта, по меньшей мере частично, защитным экраном (18); при этом мембрана (16) герметично прикреплена водонепроницаемым способом к телу (13) подошвы (12, 112, 212) по меньшей мере в одной зоне герметизации (А), расположенной по периферии относительно области (15).
