Abstract

Интерферометрическое устройство для исследования поверхности объекта, причем устройство, содержащее: источник, формирующий объектный луч когерентного света; источник, формирующий опорный луч, который когерентен с объектным лучом; и детектор или множество детекторов, собранных в детекторную матрицу; причем устройство устроено так, что объектный луч расходится или, по существу, сколлимирован; и при использовании расходящийся или, по существу, сколлимированный объектный луч направлен к поверхности объекта для формирования отраженного объектного луча, отраженного от поверхности объекта; детектор(ы) сфокусирован(ы) в точку ниже поверхности объекта; и отраженный объектный луч совмещается с опорным лучом и детектируется детектором(ами). Также предложен соответствующий способ для проведения интерферометрического исследования поверхности объекта. Поверхность объекта может быть морским дном, и интерферометрическое устройство может служить для исследования движения частиц на морском дне в ответ на сейсмическое событие.
