Abstract

Настоящее изобретение относится к петлевому реактору, пригодному для процесса полимеризации олефинов, включающему взаимосвязанные трубы, определяющие путь потока для полимерной суспензии, причем указанная суспензия, по существу, состоит из олефинового реагента, катализатора полимеризации, жидкого разбавителя и твердых частиц олефинового полимера; средства введения олефинового реагента, катализатора полимеризации и разбавителя в указанный реактор; насос, подходящий для поддержания циркуляции полимерной суспензии в указанном реакторе; и единственный отстойник, соединенный с указанным петлевым реактором через (а) отводной трубопровод, проходящий от указанного реактора к указанному отстойнику и скомпонованный для удаления указанной полимерной суспензии из указанного реактора, и (б) возвратный трубопровод, проходящий от указанного отстойника к указанному реактору, отличающемуся тем, что указанный отводной трубопровод радиально соединен с указанным единственным отстойником.
