Abstract

Система радиочастотных OFDM-MIMO передач принимает форму системы DVB-T, которая модифицирована таким образом, что фазы выбранных одних из передач пилот-сигналов, в частности, рассеянных пилот-сигналов, выбирают или изменяют в передатчиках так, что некоторые из соответствующих передач пилот-сигналов от двух (или больше) каскадов передатчиков MIMO имеют одну и ту же фазу, а другие из передач имеют относительно инвертированную фазу. В приемнике принимаемые пилот-сигналы (30) извлекают и объединяют так, чтобы получать индикацию относительно характеристик канала передач. Имеется три усовершенствования: i) любые непрерывные пилот-сигналы на той же несущей, что и инвертированные рассеянные пилот-сигналы, также являются инвертированными по фазе (1), ii) эти рассеянные пилот-сигналы на чередующихся несущих пилот-сигналов являются инвертированными по фазе, даже если это означает, что данный символ имеет некоторые инвертированные и некоторые неинвертированные, и iii) в приемнике неинвертированные (34) и инвертированные пилот-сигналы (36) разделяют, интерполируют по частоте и времени (38, 40), а затем суммируют и вычитают (42, 44).
