Abstract

Способ исследования аналита в жидкости, который включает в себя приведение жидкости в контакт с голографическим элементом, включающим в себя среду и голограмму, располагающуюся во всем объеме среды, в котором оптическая характеристика элемента изменяется в результате изменения физического свойства, происходящего в объеме среды, причем это изменение происходит в результате взаимодействия между средой и аналитом; и определение любого изменения оптической характеристики элемента; характеризующееся тем, что (а) среда включает в себя группу, способную реагировать с аналитом, причем аналит или группа способны существовать во множестве форм, и определение осуществляют в присутствии первого катализатора, способного катализировать превращение относительно менее реакционноспособной формы аналита или группы в относительно более реакционноспособную форму; или (б) жидкость включает в себя отличный от аналита компонент, способный взаимодействовать со средой, и определение осуществляют в присутствии второго катализатора, способного катализировать удаление указанного компонента.
