Изобретение относится к системе обработки транзакций, предназначенной для осуществления транзакций между первым устройством (1) и вторым устройством, причем указанные первое и второе устройства выполнены с возможностью обмена информацией друг с другом, и, по меньшей мере, одно из указанных первого и второго устройств представляет собой карточку с интегральной схемой, при этом упомянутая система содержит, по меньшей мере, одно устройство ввода/вывода (25); переносимую виртуальную машину (20) для интерпретации компьютерной программы на первом устройстве, при этом виртуальная машина содержит виртуальный микропроцессор и драйвер, по меньшей мере, для одного устройства ввода/вывода (25) и исполнительное средство, реагирующее на интерпретированную программу для исполнения этой программы. Основной принцип, лежащий в основе изобретения, состоит в обеспечении переносимости с одновременной защищенностью данных и гарантиями исполнения в системе осуществления транзакций, которая не зависит от конкретной реализации, при условии, что проверки времени компиляции прошли успешно. Данная концепция реализуется за счет использования виртуальной машины в качестве интерпретатора, драйвера для устройств ввода/вывода в виртуальной машине, так что прикладные программы имеют общий интерфейс с устройствами ввода/вывода и поэтому являются переносимыми в различные среды, а также за счет распределения и перераспределения памяти и включения указания объема памяти в прикладную программу, что означает, что программа будет выполняться успешно или она не будет выполняться совсем, при этом функции управления мероприятиями по защищенности сокращаются
