В заявке описываются замещенные 2-фенилпиридины формулы Iгде n обозначает 0, 1; R, Rи R- H, OH, SH, NO, NH, CN, COOH, CONH, галоген, алкил, галогеналкил, алкокси, галогеналкокси, алкиламино, диалкиламино, алкилтио, галогеналкилтио, алкиламинокарбонил, диалкиламинокарбонил; R- H, OH, SH, NO, NH, CN, галоген, алкил, галогеналкил, галогеналкокси, алкилтио, галогеналкилтио, алкилсульфинил, галогеналкилсульфинил, алкилсульфонил, галогеналкилсульфонил; R- H, CN, галоген; Rи R- H, галоген; R- H, OH, NO, CN, CF-SO-O-, галоген, алкил, галогеналкил, алкокси, галогеналкокси; X - кислород или серу; Rи R- H, алкил; m обозначает 1-4; R- алкил, циклоалкил, галогеналкил, алкенил, галоге-алкенил, алкоксикарбонил, алкоксикарбонилалкил, необязательно замещенный фенил, тиенил, фуранил, тетрагидрофуранил, пирролил, оксазолил, изоксазолил, тиазолил, изотиазолил, пиридил или пиримидил, причем в качестве заместителей могут использоваться NO, CN, галоген, алкил и алкокси; Rи R- алкокси, алкилтио или оба вместе с общим C-атомом представляют собой группуR- H, алкил, алкенил, галогеналкенил, алкоксикарбонилалкилбензил; Z представляет собой необязательно замещенную этиленовую либо триметиленовую цепь, а также соли указанных соединений. В заявке описывается также применение соединений и их солей в качестве гербицидов и для десикации и/или дефолиации растений.
