Abstract
1. A facade or roof of a metal-glass structure, comprising a metal framework, the frame panels of which are provided with glass panes (27), wherein the metal framework, at the building side, comprises main profile members (16) and crossbar profile members (28) extending transversely thereto, and the metal framework, at the outward side, comprises cover profile members (24) which cover the edges of the panes and which are screwed to the main profile members (16) or the crossbar profile members (28), the main profile members (16), the crossbar profile members (28) and the cover profile members (24) have anchoring grooves (25) for sealing strips (26, 48) which bear against the edges of the panes, and the main profile members and the crossbar profile members are provided with receiving channels for condensation water and receiving grooves (19, 32) for seepage water and are in the form of hollow-chamber profile members, wherein the bottoms (41) of the receiving grooves (32) in the crossbar profile members (28) for the seepage water extend into the region of the receiving grooves (19) in the main profile member (16) for the seepage water and the outer longitudinal edges of the receiving grooves (19) of the main profile members (16) for the seepage water are formed by the anchoring grooves (25) for the sealing strips (26) of the main profile members (16) and the bottoms of the anchoring grooves for the sealing strips of the crossbar profile members (28) align with the bottoms (41) of the receiving grooves (32) of the crossbar profile members, with the bottoms (41) of the receiving grooves (32) being supported on the two upper edges of the anchoring grooves (25) of the sealing strips (26) of the main profile members (16), wherein the structural height of the sealing strips (26) which are fixed to the main profile member (16) is greater than that of the sealing strips of the crossbar profile members (28) and the sealing strips of the main and crossbar profile members bear against a common pane surface, characterised in that the web portion (51) carrying the anchoring grooves (25) of the main profile members (16) has a desired-bending location (52) which is formed by a weakening in its cross-section and by means of which the inclination of the anchoring groove (25) can be matched to an inclination of the crossbar profile member (28), the inclination of the crossbar profile member being predetermined on the basis of the frame geometry.
