Abstract

A sealing strip (1) is fixed to the web head (3) of a profile web (4) by way of a fixing groove (2), the web head (3) projecting from one of the profiles (18, 19, 21, 21[216C]) in the direction of the flat panel (16, 16[216C]). A plurality of sealing ribs, extending next to one another in the strip longitudinal direction in the manner of spread-apart fingers of a hand when seen in cross-section, protrude from the sealing-strip flank (12) on the side remote from the groove. Depending on the angular position of the flat panel (16, 16[216C]), at least one sealing rib (13) lies with its head end (15) approximately at right angles against the surface of the flat panel (16, 16[216C]). <IMAGE>
