Abstract

A fastener for windows, doors or the like is equipped with a locking bolt (10) which passes through a longitudinal slot (15) of a face plate (16) and engages over it laterally by means of an especially mushroom-shaped locking head (26) and which is fastened adjustably in terms of rotation to an adjustable driving rod (11). So that the locking bolt (10) can be attached releasably as such to the driving rod (11) without special additional fastening parts, the fastener has the features that the locking bolt (10) engages behind the driving rod (11) through a keyhole-like recess (12) by means of a hammer head (13) and has a transverse web (17) to be arranged in a widening recess (14) of the longitudinal slot (15) of the face plate (16), and that the widening recess (14) has a catching diameter (33) which can be overcome by the transverse web (17) during the rotational adjustment of the locking bolt (10). <IMAGE>
