Description
The invention relates to holding element for a fitting part of a drive rod fitting having a longitudinally displaceable drive rod section in a fitting groove of a window with a positioning device provided for supporting side walls of the fitting groove, with a base body to hold a cover rail of the fitting part, wherein the positioning device is connected releasably to the base body. EP 0 843 064 A2 discloses a fitting for a window, in which the holding element is arranged between two fitting parts. The holding element is supported on two opposite groove walls of a rebate groove. The fitting is inserted into the rebate groove, aligned and held in this aligned position by means of the holding element. The holding element is thus adjusted to the existing rebate groove. DE 75 22 553 U discloses a device to compensate for tolerances on the slide blocks. The slide blocks have a semi-circular groove, into which the O-ring made of rubber is inserted. The device is supported in a profile of a window with the O-ring. EP 0 056 484 A2 discloses a cover rail fitting, in which several U-shaped holders are screwed together with a cover rail. A spacing element is additionally inserted between cover rail and holder. The U-shaped holder has side limbs, with which they engage behind webs of a receiving groove.
Such a holding element is known for example from EP 2 444 574 A2. The holding element for positioning within the fitting groove has resilient, laterally protruding projections and rigid projections. The resilient projections hold the fitting parts additionally by means of clamping force. The projections are manufactured in one piece with the base body. Different holding elements must be created for fitting grooves of different widths. A corner guide has become known from EP 2 058 463 Bl, in which a limb section of the cover rail is held by means of a clamping spring element in the fitting groove. The clamping spring element is mounted separately between the drive rod section and the limb section of the cover rail. A base body for supporting the fitting part on the base of the fitting groove is mounted from the side of the drive rod section. Thus, the mounting of the drive rod fitting is elaborately designed. A fitting unit has become known from EP 1 099 819 Bl, in which a securing element has projections designed as fixing projections for the relative position fixing of the drive rod section relative to the cover rail. These projections shear off during the first actuation of the drive rod fitting and serve to simplify the mounting of the drive rod fitting.
In the case of the known holding elements it is disadvantageous that in the case of different fitting parts and profile systems on windows frequently the form and the spacing of the drive rods and the size and the form of the fitting groove have differences. This leads to a plurality of holding elements having to be produced and kept in stock.
The invention addresses the problem of designing a holding element of the type mentioned at the outset so that it is suitable for different fitting parts and profile systems and can be mounted as easily as possible.
This problem is solved according to the present invention by a protruding fixing projection penetrating into a recess of the drive rod section, wherein the fixing projection has such a low strength that it is designed to shear off at the first actuation of the drive rod fitting and that the fixing projection is arranged on the positioning device.
As a result of this design the positioning device can be adjusted in dependence on the existing fitting groove. The positioning device can be designed as a clamping body, as a latching body, as a support or the like. The base body can be produced due to the invention as a standardized component. The holding element can therefore be produced especially cost effectively and be mounted cost effectively as a single component. By means of a protruding fixing projection penetrating into a recess of the drive rod section, wherein the fixing projection has such a low strength, that it is designed to shear off at the first actuation of the drive rod fitting, the holding element makes possible a simplification of the mounting of the drive rod fitting. The structural outlay for the preparation of the holding element with and without fixing projection can be kept especially low, if the fixing projection is arranged on the positioning device.
According to another advantageous further development of the invention the holding element can be used for fitting grooves of different widths, if the positioning device has a spacing element between the base body and a support provided for support on the side walls of the fitting groove.
The holding element has a high stability according to another advantageous further development of the invention, if the base body has a receptacle arranged transversely to the direction of movement of the drive rod section and the positioning device has a coupling body inserted into the receptacle. Preferably the receptacle has a guide and a guide part penetrating into the guide.
According to another advantageous further development of the invention the fitting part is held reliably by clamping forces, if the support is designed spring-elastically. Through this design the fitting part can also be mounted especially easily. The spring-elastic support also compensates for tolerances of the fitting groove and the fitting part.
According to another advantageous further development of the invention the support has high pre-tensioning forces, if the spring-elastically designed support has the form of a closed arc.
Frequently, fitting parts have different spacings of the cover rail from the drive rod section. The structural outlay for holding the fitting parts can be kept especially low according to another advantageous further development of the invention, if the positioning device has a second spacing element for spacing the cover rail apart from the drive rod section.
The alignment of the positioning device relative to the base body is designed especially simply according to another advantageous further development of the invention, if the base body has a stop for supporting the positioning device.
The invention permits numerous embodiments. To further clarify its basic principle one such embodiment is depicted in the drawing and is described below.
Figure 1 shows in perspective a corner area of a wing with the fitting part,
Figure 2 shows a sectional view through the wing with the fitting part along the line II - II,
Figure 3a shows in perspective an enlarged depiction of a holding element for holding the fitting part from Figure 2 in a fitting groove of the wing,
Figure 3b shows the holding element from Figure 3 a before the mounting,
Figure 4a shows a further embodiment of the holding element in a perspective depiction, Figure 4b shows the holding element from Figure 4a before the mounting.
Figure 1 shows a comer area of a wing 1, of a window or of a window door, with a fitting part 2 of a drive rod fitting not depicted in detail, which fitting part is designed as a comer guide. The wing 1 has a fitting groove 3, in which the fitting part 2 is secured. The fitting part 2 has a borehole 4 for carrying out a screw connection with the wing 1. Furthermore, the fitting part 2 has a lock pin of a locking device of the wing 1. The fitting part 2 is supported in side walls 5 of the fitting groove 3.
Figure 2 shows in an enlarged view a sub-area of a sectional view through the wing 1 from Figure 1 along the line II - II. Here it can be seen that the fitting part 2 is supported via a holding element 6 on the bottom 7 of the fitting groove 3. The holding element 6 has a bore hole 8 in alignment with the borehole 4 of the fitting part 2 for screwing together with the wing 1. The fitting part 2 has a stationary cover rail 9 screwed together with the wing 1 and a drive rod section 10 guided longitudinally-displaceably in the fitting groove 3.
Figure 3a shows in an enlarged view the holding element 6 from Figure 2 in a perspective depiction. The holding element 6 has a base body 11 with a base 12 for support on the bottom 7 of the fitting groove 3 and a positioning device 13 for support on the side walls 5 of the fitting groove 3 from Figure 1. The positioning device 13 is releasably connected to the base body 11 and has a first spacing element 14 for fixing the spacing of the base body 11 with the borehole 8 relative to the side walls 5 of the fitting groove 3 and a second spacing element 15 for fixing the spacing of the drive rod section 10 relative to the cover rail 9. The positioning device 13 has a spring-elastically designed support 16 for support on the side walls 5 of the fitting groove 3. The support 16 has the form of a closed arc for this purpose.
Furthermore, the holding element 6 has a fixing projection 17, which at the initial mounting of the drive rod fitting penetrates into the correspondingly designed recess of the drive rod section 10 and is sheared off at the first actuation of the drive rod fitting.
Figure 3b shows that the positioning device 13 and the base body 11 are designed as two independent components. The positioning device 13 has the two spacing elements 14, 15, the support 16 and the fixing projection 17, as well as a coupling body 18. The base body 11 has an elongated receptacle 19 arranged transversely to the intended direction of movement of the drive rod section 10 for the introduction of the coupling body 18. The fixing projection 17 is arranged on the positioning device and can therefore be exchanged with the latter.
Furthermore, Figure 3a and 3b show that the base body 11 has a stop 20 for supporting the positioning device 13.
Figures 4a and 4b show a holding element 106, which only differs from that from Figure 1 in that a base body 111 has a supporting positioning device 113 on both side walls 5 of the fitting groove 3. The positioning device 113 has two supports 116, 116’ for this purpose, which are constructed as described in Figure 3 a. Otherwise, the holding element 106 is constructed as the holding element in Figures 3a and 3b.
