Claims (14)

1. Et peptid med et aminoterminalt område A, et carboxyterminalt område C og et derimellem liggende område B med den almene formel AxByCz f med x, z > 1, idet x > 3 og/eller z > 3, y>3ogx + y+ z< 50, idet A og C hver især uafhængigt af hinanden har i det mindste 65%, 75% eller 80% basiske aminosyrer, idet B har i det mindste 80% hydrofobe og/eller upolære aminosyrer udvalgt af gruppen bestående af Val, Ile, Phe og vilkårlige kombinationer af Val, Leu, Ile og Phe og omfatter en direkte rækkefølge efter hinanden af i det mindste tre, fire eller fem hydrofobe aminosyrer.
2. Peptid ifølge krav 1 med y > 4 eller y > 5.
3. Peptid ifølge et af kravene 1 eller 2, idet den aminoterminale aminosyre i A og/eller den carboxyterminale aminosyre i C er en basisk aminosyre.
4. Peptid ifølge et af kravene 1 til 3, idet de basiske aminosyrer uafhængigt af hinanden er udvalgt af gruppen bestående af Lys, Arg og His eller af Lys og Arg.
5. Peptid ifølge et af kravene 1 til 4, idet A og/eller C udelukkende omfatter basiske aminosyrer, og/eller idet B udelukkende omfatter hydrofobe og/eller upolære aminosyrer.
6. Peptid ifølge et af kravene 1 til 5 med y < 20, y < 15 eller y < 10 og/eller med x + y + z < 30 eller x + y + z < 20.
7. Peptid ifølge et af kravene 1 til 6, idet peptidet i et vandigt miljø i det mindste delvist er udformet som beta-streng, fortrinsvis i det mindste 50%, 65%, 75% eller 80% af aminosyrerne i peptidet er omfattet i en enkelt beta-streng.
8. Peptid ifølge et af kravene 1 til 7, idet peptidet i et vandigt miljø ikke har nogen alpha-helix.
9. Peptid ifølge et af kravene 1 til 8, idet peptidet på C-terminalen er udformet som carboxylsyreamid.
10. Peptid ifølge et af kravene 1 til 9 med 3 d x, z < 7 og 5 < y < 10, idet A og C uafhængigt af hinanden er udvalgt af gruppen bestående af Lys, Arg og kombinationer heraf, og idet B er udvalgt af gruppen bestående af Val, Ile, Phe og vilkårlige kombinationer af Val, Leu, Ile og Phe.
11. Peptid ifølge et af kravene 1 til 10, idet peptidet har i det mindste 90% eller i det mindste 95% sekvensidentitet med en sekvens udvalgt af gruppen bestående af SEQ ID NO: 1-13, 15, 16, 19-25 og 27-49.
12. Peptid ifølge et af kravene 1 til 11 til anvendelse som medikament.
13. Et konjugat omfattende peptidet ifølge et af kravene 1 til 11 og i det mindste en yderligere bestanddel, hvortil peptidet foreligger bundet kovalent og/eller adsorptivt
14. En antimikrobiel sammensætning omfattende peptidet ifølge et af kravene 1 til 11.
