Claims (15)
1. Fremgangsmåde til tilvejebringelse af en hierarkisk basisstationsalmanak til en mobilstation (150), hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter: modtagelse ved en basisstationsserver (180) af en anmodning om information associeret med en hierarkisk basisstationsalmanak, sending til den mobile station (150) af et eller flere signaler, som er repræsentative for i det mindste et delsæt af den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanak, fra basisstationsserveren via et trådløst kommunikationsnetværk, hvilken hierarkisk basisstationsalmanak omfatter et antal niveauer, som er konfigureret på en hierarkisk måde, kendetegnet ved, at den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanak omfatter et øvre niveau og et nedre niveau, hvorved det øvre niveau omfatter information, som er fælles for et antal af indførsler, som er opført i det nedre niveau, og at den fælles information registreres i den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanak som en enkel indførsel i det øvre niveau.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvorved anmodningen om information omfatter i det mindste en ud af: et eller flere netværk, som specificeres ved hjælp af den mobile station (150), en mængde af data, der kan lagres ved hjælp af den mobile station (150), et specifikt indhold af data i den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanak og et granularitetsniveau for den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanak.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvorved anmodningen om information omfatter i det mindste en ud af: en serviceleverandørs navn, en netværksidentifika-tors navn, et mobilapparats mulighed og en frekvensklasse.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, og som yderligere omfatter bestemmelse, ved hjælp af basisstationsserveren (180), af en mængde af information, der skal overføres til den mobile station baseret på i det mindste en ud af: den mobile stations netværks-ID, den mobile stations tilgængelige plads og geografiske begrænsninger for en tidligere kendt placering af den mobile station, og hvorved sending af de et eller flere signaler, som er repræsentative for i det mindste den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanaks delsæt, er baseret på bestemmelse af mængden af information til overføring til den mobile station (150).
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, og som yderligere omfatter sending af en alarm til den mobile station (150) som indikerer, at der er revideret information angående den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanak tilgængelig, og hvorved modtagelsen af anmodningen om information associeret med den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanak fra den mobile station (150) er som reaktion på sendingen af alarmen til den mobile station (150).
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvorved antallet af den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanaks niveauer omfatter et systemidentifikationsniveau (320), hvorved det øvre niveau omfatter en header (310), og hvorved det nedre niveau omfatter et sektorniveau (350).
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 6, hvorved headeren omfatter en optalt frekvensliste og en værdi, som indikerer en optælling af en eller flere indførsler, der er inkluderet i systemidentifikationsniveauet, hvorved en eller flere indførsler, som er inkluderet i systemidentifikationsniveauet, omfatter information i forbindelse med systemdækningsområdets form, position og/eller størrelse.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 6, hvorved den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanak omfatter et celleidentifikationsniveau (340) og et netværksidentifikationsniveau (330) i antallet af den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanaks niveauer, hvorved celleidenfitikationsniveauet (340) omfatter en eller flere indførsler, som omfatter information i forbindelse med en eller flere basisstationer, og hvorved informationen i forbindelse med de en eller flere basisstationer omfatter information i forbindelse med en eller flere basisstationsidentifikatorer omfattende celleidentifikationsværdier og sektoridentifikationsværdier, og yderligere hvorved informationen, som er forbundet med den ene eller de flere basisstationer ved celleidentifikationsniveauet (340), omfatter information i forbindelse med en eller flere antennepositioner.
9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvorved sendingen af den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanak omfatter sending af en almanak med udvalgt information baseret i det mindste delvis på en bestemmelse af sandsynlige placeringer, hvortil den mobile station kan flytte og/eller diskontinuerligt springe, hvorved bestemmelsen af sandsynlige placeringer er baseret i det mindste delvis på et antal kendte lufthavne, til hvilke den mobile station (150) kan ankomme i ét spring fra en lufthavn nærmest en nuværende placering af den mobile station (150).
10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvorved sendingen af den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanak omfatter modtagelse af en almanak med en information, som er valgt baseret i det mindste delvis på en vejbane og/eller retning, i hvilken den mobile station (150) bevæger sig.
11. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvorved sendingen af den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanak omfatter sending af information i forbindelse med et antal sendere, og hvorved antallet af sendere er udvalgt til inkludering i den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanak baseret i det mindste delvis på et geografisk område.
12. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 11, hvorved informationen, som er forbundet med antallet af sendere, omfatter tidsinformation for den ene eller de flere ud af antallet af sendere, hvorved tidsinformationen omfatter en eller flere af en code-division-multiple-access- (CDMA-) fremadrettet-forbindelseskalibreringsværdi og/eller et Universal-Mobile-Telecommunikations-System- (UMTS-) frame-ti-ming-forhold.
13. Apparat omfattende: midler til modtagelse ved en basisstationsserver af en anmodning om information associeret med en hierarkisk basisstationsalmanak, midler til sending til den mobile station af et eller flere signaler, som er repræsentative for i det mindste et delsæt af den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanak, fra basisstationsserveren via et trådløst kommunikationsnetværk, hvilken hierarkisk basisstationsalmanak omfatter et antal niveauer, som er konfigureret på en hierarkisk måde, kendetegnet ved, at den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanak omfatter et øvre niveau og et nedre niveau, hvorved det øvre niveau omfatter information, som er fælles for et antal af indførsler, som er opført i det nedre niveau, og at den fælles information registreres i den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanak som en enkel indførsel i det øvre niveau.
14. Apparat ifølge krav 13, hvorved den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanak omfatter et celleidentifikationsniveau (340) og et netværksidentifikationsniveau (330) i antallet af den hierarkiske basisstationsalmanaks niveauer, hvorved cel-leidenfitikationsniveauet (340) omfatter en eller flere indførsler, som omfatter information i forbindelse med en eller flere basisstationer, og hvorved informationen i forbindelse med de en eller flere basisstationer omfatter information i forbindelse med en eller flere basisstationsidentifikatorer omfattende celleidentifikationsværdier og sektoridentifikationsværdier, og yderligere hvorved informationen, som er forbundet med den ene eller de flere basisstationer ved celleidentifikationsniveauet (340), omfatter information i forbindelse med en eller flere antennepositioner.
15. Artikel omfattende: et lagermedium, som har herpå lagrede instruktioner, som, hvis de udøves, muliggør at en processor i en basisstationsserver (180) kan udøve trinnene ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 12.
