Abstract
The post profile possesses two profile legs extending at a distance from one another in the profile longitudinal direction and inter-connected by a web. The profile legs are joined to the web via spring portions. The spring portions are hairpin-like material strips which are folded at the longitudinal edges, remote from one another, of the web on the side facing away from the free ends of the profile legs and then merge into marginal strips of the profile legs which project beyond the plane spanned by the web. On deflection of the regions, remote from the web, of the profile legs into the hollow space enclosed by the undeformed post profile, the profile legs strike the said outer longitudinal edges of the web, which then serve as stops for limiting the spring excursions of the profile legs. <IMAGE>
