Abstract

The post profile possesses two profile legs extending at a distance from one another in the profile longitudinal direction and inter-connected by a web. The profile legs are joined to the web via spring portions. The spring portions are hairpin-like material strips which are folded at the longitudinal edges, remote from one another, of the web on the side facing away from the free ends of the profile legs and then merge into marginal strips of the profile legs which project beyond the plane spanned by the web.
