Claims (10)

Patentkrav
1. Forbrændingsmotorsystem (1) der omfatter:
- en intern forbrændingsmotor (2), der genererer en udstødningsgas omfattende sod,
- en turbolader (3), der drives af udstødningsgassen og
- en NOx-reduktionsenhed (4) indrettet opstrøms for turboladeren og fluidforbundet med den interne forbrændingsmotor (2) for at rense udstødningsgassen fra den interne forbrændingsmotor (2), NOxreduktionsenheden (4), i hvilken soden aflejres, omfatter:
- et katalytisk reaktorhus (5) med et kammer (6), et indløbsrør (7) og et udløbsrør (8) og
- et eller flere katalytiske element(er) (9) indrettet i kammeret (6) i det katalytiske reaktorhus (5) mellem indløbsrøret (7) og udløbsrøret (8), hvormed forbrændingsmotorsystemet (1) endvidere omfatter en sodfjernelsesenhed (10), der omfatter:
- en modtager (14) med et tværsnitsmodtagerareal (Ar) og et modtagerindløb (15) og en udluftningsport (16), og
- et rør (17), der fluid-forbinder modtagerindløbet (15) med ventilen (11), og som har et tværsnitsrørareal (Ac), der er mindre end tværsnitsmodtagerarealet (Ar), kendetegnet ved at sodfjernelsesenheden endvidere omfatter en ventil (11) i fluidforbindelse med en åbning (12) i det katalytiske reaktorhus (5), ventilen (11) har en åben position, der muliggør, at mindst en del af udstødningsgassen i det katalytiske reaktorhus (5) kan strømme ind i sodfjernelsesenheden (10).
2. Forbrændingsmotorsystem (1) ifølge krav 1, hvor åbningen (12) er indrettet i kammeret (6) opstrøms for det ene eller flere katalytiske element(er) (9).
3. Forbrændingsmotorsystem (1) ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvor udluftningsporten (16) er i fluidforbindelse med et udluftningsrør (18), der er fluidforbundet nedstrøms for turboladeren (3).
4. Forbrændingsmotorsystem (1) ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor tværsnitsrørarealet (AC) er mindre end 50 % af tværsnitsmodtagerarealet (AR), fortrinsvis mindre end 30 %.
5. Forbrændingsmotorsystem (1) ifølge krav 4, hvor røret (17) har en rørlængde (L), der er større end en diameter af tværsnitsrørarealet (AC).
6. Forbrændingsmotorsystem (1) ifølge krav 4, hvor røret (17) har en rørlængde (L), der er 10 % større end en diameter af tværsnitsrørarealet (AC), fortrinsvis 25 % større end en diameter af tværsnitsrørarealet (AC), mere fortrinsvis 50 % større end en diameter af tværsnitsrørarealet (AC).
7. Forbrændingsmotorsystem (1) ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor kammeret (6) har et kammervolumen (VC) og modtageren (14) har et modtagervolumen (VR), der er mindre end 20 % af kammervoluminet (VC), fortrinsvis mindre end 10 % af kammervoluminet (VC).
8. Forbrændingsmotorsystem (1) ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor en lydisolerende enhed (19) mindst delvist omgiver sodfjernelsesenheden (10) og/eller NOx-reduktionsenheden (4).
9. Forbrændingsmotorsystem (1) ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvilket forbrændingsmotorsystem endvidere omfatter en anden turbolader (21) placeret opstrøms for NOx-reduktionsenheden(4).
10. Fremgangsmåde til reduktion af sod i et kammer (6) i en NOxreduktionsenhed (4) i et forbrændingsmotorsystem (1) ifølge krav 1-9, fremgangsmåden omfatter følgende trin:
- åbning af ventilen (11) for at muliggøre at en del af udstødningsgassen strømmer ind i røret (17) og videre ind i modtageren (14), hvilket genererer en akustisk bølge, der transmitteres ind i kammeret (6), og derved løsner en del af soden i kammeret (6),
- lukning af ventilen (11) og
- udluftning af modtageren (14).
